We came for a few days to visit Montréal and were pleased with the hotel. Great access to the metro and local amenities. The rooms were quiet. The rooftop pool was a dream. Staff were great and seemed to speak many languages. The valet parking was a big relief. The common spaces seemed well maintained but the rooms could use a little updating. The carpet was very old as was the kitchenette.

We stayed in a full suite with kitchen, separate living area, etc. The kitchen had a very odd configuration (e.g., oven door blocked by refrigerator) and very outdated and awkward cabinets. It was lacking in some basics (drinking glasses, dish soap/sponge). We did like having a full size refrigerator, but that does not seem to fit in the space this unit has. The bathroom was also small, with limited counter space for 2 people. Despite a new shower, the bath drain was rusted and not working. The bedroom dresser was very cheaply made--drawers were crooked and did not open well so we used the one in the living room. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and our housekeeper was excellent. We also appreciated having a TV in each room. The sofa was "soft" from use and not comfortable for long periods. Overall, the naugahide furniture and dark brown carpeting made the unit look dark and outdated. It would benefit from further refreshing. The car valet was always there and very quick to retrieve our car. We appreciated that. The restaurant breakfast is overpriced for what it is, so we only ate there once. Overall, it was okay--lots of open space but not enough room in other ways; not as attractive as photos might lead one to believe.

Our hotel experience was on par with what you can expect from a hotel with some quirks. Staff was good and hospitable. The location was great with everything at a walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean. The on-site one way valet parking is a bit pricey. It would add to the experience if breakfast was included. Overall, a decent experience.

Very nice property & well-priced for the area. Some items needed a maintenance call to fix A/C filter blocked so room would not cool, bath sink blocked & very slow drainage. Maintenance person fixed quickly. ALL staff encountered were very professional & very kind. They were super. Valet area is a little strange, they park the car I. The garage for you, but when time to leave you have to drive the car out of the garage & it has an exceptionally tight 90. degree turn made tough by scaffolding that lessens available space. No trouble for me - but I transported trucks in college. This valet garage was very tight for exiting. I had maybe 4” on either side of the Q5…

Everything was excellent except the toilet in the premier executive suite for someone who is handicapped The toilet is very low.Other than that everything else is great

This property is a hidden gem. It’s a little older, so if you need state of the art chic this isn’t for you. What you will get is very big rooms, clean rooms, fair price and happy passionate staff! Roof top pool is also a real winner. I’ll stay again as a priority.

Nice room and quiet hotel, well placed in the downtown core. Excessive construction in the area made parking and getting around challenging.

Pros: the room presents well. Nice comfy bed. There is valet parking only which is convenient. There's a restaurant iin the hotel and the location is great. The lobby is beautiful. Cons: The kitchen should not be called a kitchen. It is tiny and pretty much unusable with no counter and the fridge fits nothing. The cupboards are too high. There is one pot ust enough to cook a bowl of instant ramen. No other cooking tools. Very disappointing. The walls are paper thin. We received a noise complaint within minutes of arriving in our room an be our was only 8pm. We could hear the occupants in the room next door sneeze. The pool is on the roof and it needs to be spruced up and the water should be hotter. The roof top patio s very plain and dingy. The elevators are very slow and tiny. They don't have enough staff at front desk. We had to wait awhile while they help another guest about inquiries before they finally checked us in. It took almost 15min because she was alone. It was 8pm.
