Beautiful hotel in the heart of Old Montreal. We received free upgrade as long term Expedia and VIP status. The room and bathroom are large, modern and clean. Few steps to the many restaurants and shops. Highly recommend if staying in old Montréal.

Lovely hotel
Everything really was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Special shoutout to the Valet guys, they really were friendly and professional. Only slight feedback was I made mention this was our honeymoon and while we appreciated the gesture of the macaroons and card, we would’ve loved perhaps a glass of champagne or wine to celebrate. Going that extra mile would’ve really made that lasting impact and a surprise and delight. This wasn’t just a weekend away but a huge celebration of our wedding. Don’t get us wrong, we did love the macaroons but even an upgrade or something would’ve made it super special.

We enjoyed our get away in Montreal, largely because Hotel William Gray offered such a welcoming, easy check in and stay. Eddie was particularly helpful in regard to how to navigate the city and as the first ambassador for the hotel.

Very nice but pricey
Really nice location for old town, but far from a lot of other tourist sites. The hotel is nice - great amenities, although quite small rooms. Awesome shower, aircon and very quiet. They “try to guarantee” checkin by 4pm. Not sure if especially busy, but we got our key literally at 15:59… The bar and restaurant are expensive. Overall a nice stay but did think it was on the pricey side for what you get.
