Power went out in the hotel for around 12 hours. No lights, water, shower etc. Hotel said it was the city that shut off the power so we were out of luck. Had to wander around the city for a few hours. Asked about taking a shower and was told there was nothing they could do. Had to buy a case of water from a local store to use to take a shower. No refunds or anything offered was told it was the same as if the power went off in my house and was told "well you slept in the room". Poor customer service. Contacted Hyatt customer service and haven't received a response as of yet.
Almost 300/Night for a water bottle shower.

Great hotel for a downtown stay! The staff was all very helpful and friendly, the city views were amazing, and the proximity to walkable activities and the metro was perfect. The breakfast was good but very chaotic and busy, and the elevator situation left a bit to be desired (frequent long waits), but overall it's a worthwhile place to stay.

When we arrived at check in, the property did not have power due to some city water main break. The staff was professional and unflappable. There were a lot of people who were looking to check in. The room itself was ok, clean but rather small. It was warm due to no A/C all day and it took a while to be a comfortable temp. There is a park directly in front of the hotel that had a lot of fun activities. Overalll a good stay.

No water, no electricity, no compensation :(
We arrived at the hotel while it was out of power du to a major water leak in the city. Couldn’t get in the hotel from the parking so we had to walk around. The front desk told us the room had no power, no A/C, no water, no shower, no toilet but it should be back soon and the will offer a compensation at the check out based on the duration of this. Really disappointed cause we needed a shower badly but hey, it is not their fault, so let keep it positive. We drop the stuff and left since we couldn’t do anything. At the checkout the only offer a free parking even I insisted it wasn’t enough for a 500$ room without water and electricity. Nobody cares. Really disappointed since the room itself wasn’t bad, even we had the wrong side of the building so the view wasn’t super nice but the bed was comfortable and the size of the room was good, but the no toilet no shower thing ruined it all. :( Can’t understand they wouldn’t offer a compensation!

Quiet rooms, breakfast was mediocre and needed to get there early because of the amount of people that line up for the buffet. Staff very friendly. Gym had great equipment.

Connected to a small mall with its own metro station made it very convenient. Parking on site is very tight and very low head clearance, I’m 5’-6” and had to duck at places. If you drive anything over 5’-10” beware. Vans can’t go up the ramp so limited to first level of parking. Room was great, friendly staff. Breakfast was wild. Great selection but very busy after 9. And trying to catch an elevator afterwards was a cattle line. That was my only complaint. Pool is quite nice, great for kids, has a large shallow area with a deep dip in the centre and goes shallow again at the other end.

There was a strike when we arrived, so room was not available until 5pm instead of check-in at 3pm. There was no basic room service, amenities like cups were missing. For 450$ per night per room hotel wanted to give us 10$CAD credit for breakfast that was included! What can you buy for 10 bucks? How is this fair? You advertise 4 star hotel, but provide service of 2 star hotel. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Manager is a liar also as he said to Expedia that the room was ready by 3pm, which it was not and everyone knows s that.

Stayed Aug 6-9 2024 Check in was a breeze. Candice was of great help and super sweet with kids. Had a super high room with amazing city views. We were there during a union strike so some measures were applied during our stay ie, one morning, the (included) buffet breakfast was cancelled. Hotel refunded it at check out though. There were long lines and wait times all through that day. But this lasted only 24 hours. Otherwise, hotel was clean, staff was helpful and nice, food was good, plenty of towels and the pool. Perfect location, near subway station, underground shopping as well (grocery store, drugstore, saw, etc.). Accessible in and out underground parking but we used the subway throughout our stay. It was quite perfect for us!

Hotel was incredibly busy and offered breakfast but was poorly managed and most people gave up. Not bad for location and cleanliness but would skip the breakfast and eat elsewhere

Check in was a disaster. Housekeeping staff knocked our door at 8am and then at 1:30pm because they thought our room was not occupied. The second time, I went to the door and found someone with a long wire trying to remove the lock from the door. We went twice to the front desk to try to clear the misunderstanding but they kept asking if we did the check in the day before. Btw, I had the room keys with me. Even at the check out, they kept asking when I did the check in. I’ve never had that experience before.
