The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing and moving about the city, using the METRO. The surrounding area, and closest streets had pockets of people living on the street, hanging outside store fronts, tents set up; daily truck stop providing meals to those in need. Not knowing the area, surroundings felt somewhat uncertain and unsafe, however, people on the street kept to themselves.

It's in a good location - near LRT and bus stops. Lacking of trash bins though. Not sure if the shower was not supposed to have a door or it was for the aesthetic but I think that was on us for not asking. Staff was pretty helpful and the room is clean. Good place to just sleep in and keep your stuff safe.

Easy to catch the 747 bus to the airport from here. We liked the blackout blinds on the windows. However, there were some small stains on the bedding and on the walls and the shower door was missing so we felt that the room wasn't super well taken care of.

Pleasant stay
Short stay. Area around the hotel isn’t pretty. It actually stunk of sewer and lots of homeless people everywhere. Montreal has changed a lot in the last 5 years with higher crime and higher poverty so don’t walk around in this area too much. But the hotel was super clean. Friendly staff and free breakfast!!

It was fine for the money. Not wonderful. Not awful. It was okay. Beds were comfy, and that's important! Blackout shades -- hurray! Rooms were clean. Maid service was fine. Breakfast was okay. Gym was a little less than, but okay. The staff were friendly -- some more than others. The bedroom was a little musty. Eh.

Hotel is quite centrally located to walk to vieux montreal or mont royal. Very close to subway, by which only a few stops to botanical gardens. Downside was very few restaurants in the immediate vacinity. Average breakfast buffet. 24 hr access coffee, tea, ice water.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a recent trip to Montreal. The hotel could use a little updating (there were a fair number of scuffs in our room). But the staff kept the hotel clean, breakfast was good and the staff were excellent. It’s near two metro lines and a park. The neighborhood could be a little better but we never felt unsafe. I would stay here again.

The hotel is good overall very good location but unfortunately I had a bad experience with the staff I lost my phone in the lobby which is very small, about the size of a living room. The hotel staff was not helpful at all; they refused to check the cameras, claiming they were not working, and also they told me that the person who has access to the cameras was not available. So I was left confused, unsure if the camera was out of service or if the person responsible for them simply wasn't there.

we were unable to sleep all night due to noisy neighbors. called the front desk but didn't seem to help much. Even if they did help, the walls are so thin you can hear even modest conversation. There was slight musty odor in the room as well. The AC unit was loud and the LED display on it was bright and cant turn off. It lit up the room making sleep for me difficult. the room is also very tight and small. Fridge was very cold though. no in room coffee, but did have coffee in the lounge. dont stay here if you plan on sleeping.

Booked last minute for a weekend in Montreal - what a pleasant surprise! Hotel and street were nothing special from the outside, but the room was clean and quiet, the bed super comfortable, front desk staff very helpful and friendly. It's very walkable to St Catherines St shopping, Old Montreal, St Laurent Blvd or the Village... bring good walking shoes. Breakfast was nothing special but many coffee shops nearby. Would stay again.
