Great location but .....
We visited 3 other islands, staying in 2 other hotels during our visit to French Polynesia. All of the other hotels exceeded our expectations. This property was a little disappointing. We loved the location and enjoyed many beautiful sunrises. However the property looked a little run down and the landscaping was lacking. There were dead plants in the landscaping, fake dirty plants in the shower and the drapes were dirty.

Great location, beautiful property
My husdband and I had a great stay at this property. It was a great setup, beautiful outdoor space right on the water (several manta rays and sharks swam by and great snorkeling a short swim out), and very well equipped. We were here for 5 days and made most of our meals in the kitchen. It had everything you could possibly need in terms of utensils, pots/pans, cutlery etc. It even had the basic spices and sauces you might need. This was also very convenient, just a few minutes drive, to the ferry and biggest grocery store on the island. The host service was very accomodating and offered good suggestions that we used for our rental car and fishing charter.
The only drawback is the road noise, which isn't bad at night falling asleep but starts up early in the morning (~5am). If you are a light sleeper, i would bring ear plugs, sound machine, etc. Overall, great experience and I would stay again.
