Alnwick is also home to Barter Books, a huge second hand bookshop set inside an old Victorian railway station. Visit the marina at Amble, 2 miles south, indulge yourself with an award winning ice cream parlour or join one of the fishing trips or stroll around the weekend market. Excellent golf is available in Warkworth itself and at several courses along the coast..
