Once again, I arrived at the hotel to a very pleasant welcome, booking in was swift and easy, got to the room and found it nice and warm and very fresh and clean, no issues whatsoever and what a lovely breakfast, the staff were prepared to go out of their way to help you in any way,,fantastic job guy's keep up the great work,,harry

Staff very friendly and hotel very clean. For the first time ever in a hotel my single room had a huge window, which made it light and airy, with an open view instead of the postage stamp size windows with a view over the backyard! Sadly the shower needed a little more water pressure but it was adequate for purpose. No evening dining was on offer but maybe because it was out of season, however, the centrality of the hotel made it an easy walk to a variety of takeaways and restaurants. The breakfast was more than adequate with good coffee.

I booked through expedia it was nothing like expedia put on line, they had lovely pictures of food and there was nothing restaurant closed, totally unexceptable

Good, honest budget hotel. The staff were really good, as was the breakfast. Several options for food within minutes of walking - including a very good Chinese. If traveling by rail, five mins walk from the station. Have stayed before and will stay again.

AWFUL...nowhere to park initially as there was a function going on...the receptionist very kindly moved her car for us. Room was cold when we arrived as the radiators were turned off completely, restaurant closed due to a function, VERY shabby decor, shower barely a trickle, no hairdryer. Function carried on well into the early hours with shouting and slamming of doors until at least 2/3am. Veggie breakfast was passable. More worrying were the "fire" doors with huge gaps between the door and the frame! And lack of security at the front door. Staff lovely but clearly stretched. Would NOT recommend (unfortuanately we are already booked for next weekend...not looking forwad to that!)

TERRIBLE...Went to check in but told we were allocated a twin room when we booked a double. Room was cold (heating not on), velux window wouldn't close properly, shower barely a trickle, very shabby decor, disappointing porridge, no hair dryer. More worrying were the "fire" doors with massive gaps between the door and the frame. No security so anyone could wander in. Same member of staff as last Saturday, who we couldn't fault and the room allocation wasn't her doing. And to top it all off the price was 50% more than last weekend because of the football!! Would NOT recommend.

Staff was very nice, property was extremely basic, old, rundown, and not clean. Scuffs on the wall, hole on the ceiling and light shining through the window all night (no sufficient black out curtain). A place to stay only if you are passing through.

You only get what you pay for. Although the windows looked new, they whistled all night in the wind. The wind also blew into the room and over you when you were in bed. No bedside tables, really noisy bed. Bathroom very small - sink looked as if it was very old, wobbly toilet seat. Towels were lovely and fluffy. Also threw in a nice breakfast which I appreciated.

This hotel was everything that I needed while visiting at the hospital,,on arrival staff were very fast efficient and a friendly welcome,,on arrival at my room I was very impressed to find that the room was lovely and warm on a very cold night outside,,bed was especially comfortable, everything that I needed was in place,,very comfortable,,was met at dining room and seated, breakfast was lovely and filling,,not problems at all here,,I will definitely return to this hotel when in the area,,well done guys, it's a yes from me,,harry
