Great Little House
House was as advertised. Was very convenient for getting to all the downtown shops and could have easily walked. The house welcome book and I believe the online description mention this, which were spot on, in that the only downside of this house is backing out of the driveway onto road. It's kind of tricky with the 4-lane road and being on a hill. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We had a very nice time in Mt Airy. The house right in town and we could walk to the stores. We enjoyed staying there and the book on what it looked like before and after was a big hit with us. This house served all our needs and we would stay there again

A Great Find!
This was our first trip to Mt Airy and this home was a perfect place to stay. We were close to everything and got to enjoy walking to some "must sees" in town! Home was clean and roomy. The kitchen was the highlight for us, such a nice "farm house" feel. Would definitely stay again!

Great little spot
3 of us stayed here comfortably for the weekend for a wedding in Westfield. It was a convenient location, the home was clean and warm which was great as we got in late and it was quite chilly outside. We didn’t get to utilize the outdoor balcony/seating areas due to the weather but they were cute! The tiny fridge and small door to the bathroom were hilarious to us! Would recommend!

Renovated home that is close to downtown Mt. Airy
The home owner was easy to communicate with and the property was beautifully remodeled. You'll still need to drive since the home is on a main road, but everything is VERY close. There is parking for downtown Mt. Airy right down the road and then everything else is walking distance from there. We were able to do all the Mayberry/Andy Griffith attractions, such as the squad tour ride at Wally's and museum, as well as antiquing, shopping, and touring the Gertrude Smith House. There are many things to do in the area, such as a state park close by. All the local places to eat are excellent. We recommend Snappy Lunch, as well as places you can drive to in minutes -- The Black Derby, 13 Bones, Olympia Family Restaurant, etc. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Cozy Cottage
Overall the cottage was great. The big or ant traps placed around the cottage was a little disturbing- but there were no bugs-just a couple of aggravating flys. i couldn’t tell that the bed sheets were freshly cleaned-there was a Febreeze smell about them-I like opening the sheets when they’re wrapped in something indicating they were sanitized & I put them on the bed. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Lovely home
This is a lovely and updated 1930s house. Close to downtown and the restaurants that we like. The bed was comfortable and the living room and kitchen were spacious. The owner is generous with toiletries and supplies. I would definitely stay here again.
