Be wary
Room is very small, the bed is virtually on the floor and as comfortable as an air mattress. The furniture consists of a 4-legged stool, a wicker swing hanging from the ceiling ans a bean bag. There is nothing cozy or comfortable about this room. . Location is good and the staff is friendly.

Stylish Different Hotel in Great location
The location was amazing walking distance to marienplatz and other nice restaurants and bars. The check in is in the middle of an active bar and we were offered a complimentary drink. The noise from bar didnt reach our rooms. We found that rooms could be made abit more comfortable though. Hotel rooms have a very retro vibe. May not be ideal for families with kids.

Hip place, centrally located
This unique hotel is centrally located and a great place to stay when in Munich. The check-in/reception desk is located in the top floor adjacent to the lounge/bar area with a roof-top patio where breakfast is served in the morning. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. In the evening we were pleasantly surprised to find great music playing and upscale vibe from clusters of local young professionals who have discovered this hip, private spot for as a meet up after work or just for a cocktails. Once downstairs in our room you couldn't hear anything from the sound upstairs and we were able to sleep well. There hotel guests were couples, families, and business people and we will happily come back the next time we are in Munich. Tschuss!

Nice but based on the pics. I was a bit disappointed. I expected an apartment. It was more like a suite. No kitchen at all. Other than that the location was great and the breakfast was perfect.

Nice hotel in Marienplatz.
The hotel location and staff are excellent. The place is generally clean and quiet but carpeted areas were dirty and worn. The bed is comfortable, but the mattress is on a raised platform that you cannot walk around, so you must crawl into the bed from the foot.

Horrible place. Very nice staff
It was a lot less than we expected. The arrival Is confusing. The common areas are very rundown the bathroom had mold on the tile grout. Felt like a college dorm bathroom. The bed mattress was very soft in a bad uncomfortable way. The a/c didn’t work. You can hear all the noise from the area inside the bedroom. It was a really bad experience. We could r sleep I’m just happy it was only one night. The location is good but we are never coming back to this hotel.

Absolutely loved The Haus Im Tal for our family’s first visit to Munich. Literally a stone’s throw to Marienplatz and other walkable sightseeing spots. Cant say enough about the hotel’s staff - super welcoming, accommodating, and kind to weary travelers. We stayed over a weekend, so our room did get a little loud when the nightlife started on the 5th floor, but it was nothing a little brown noise from You Tube couldn’t take care of. Definitely wasn’t a deal breaker for us or our kids. Would love to come back!

Very nice property! The location was perfect for the markets and tourist sites. They do have parking but no need for a car. Close to train station and walkable. Bar was lovely and drew quite a crowd in the evenings! Staff was SUPER accommodating! We asked for a fridge and towels on whats app. Alexa in room. Great bathroom. Expresso machine in the room! Balcony. We would have liked to leave the balcony door open at night but it did connect to the neighbors. Pull out sofa.

Great boutique hotel with amazing staff, hospitality and clean, safe property. Suprisingly very large comfortable room. We had a very large “queen” which has to be at least as big as a king and a second very nice comfortable pull out double sized couch. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location was convenient as it is walking distance to pretty much everything in the city center. The breakfast at the hotel is good and the staff are very sweet and helpful. The restrooms in the rooms need help! The shower did not have a door so when you shower water splashes everywhere and creates a mess. The sink is very small making it hard to wash your face at the end of the day (also splashes everywhere). The rooms could benefit from drawers or some sort of storage so it doesn't feel like you are living out of a suitcase. Probably would recommend for singles, not very suitable for families.
