Short getaway
Overall it was a wonderful experience. There was a few things that could be done to improve. The area rug had a mild smell of dogs. I know its a pet friendly hotel but deep shampooing should be done after every visit. The room was beautiful and very spacious and we loved that. But can’t give an excellent score due to the dog smell in the area carpet I also loved the comfort of the bed and the beach being in walking distance although it was not the best weather to enjoy it. We were able to sat on the balcony during the night and listen to the ocean. That’s a plus.

I have been staying at this hotel every year now for 4 years.. The room for my September 2024 vacation was a little different than my past rooms. I always get an oceanfront king suite but this room is smaller plus it smelled like wet dog. I do love dogs and I know this is a very dog friendly hotel, this room was not as clean and the toilet had issues but I lived with it. Housekeeping came once. Not acceptable but I will be back, it's the only hotel I stay at when visiting.

This time the stay was terrible and it started as soon as I went to check in. I would not recommend at all. Only good thing was the ladies that worked during the weekday at the front desk and the cleaner did an excellent job cleaning the room.

Generally good place to stay but can be better
The hotel is at the premium location and is pet-friendly which is a big plus to us. However, having stayed Residence Inn at different locations (consider we are loyal Residence Inn customer), this one could have been more cleaner throughout the entire facility and room. With $150 extra charge on bring in a pet with us, the room should have been cleaned more thoroughly. The breakfast is adequate but at times some food items took some time until they can be refilled, an indication of the staff did not pay attention to the consumption of each item and when to refill. We loved the convenience of just walking to the beach whenever we want, and the hotel’s beach towel supply.

It’s beautiful place the only 1 issue I have had here I stayed there 4 nights and the reception told me they do cleaning every other day. But no one came to clean the room when I requested to clean it another reception person told me they only clean after 7 days. Which was kind of unhygienic. She said only thing they do take the trash from your room every after other day which I have requested them to at least do that. But again no one showed up to do it either. I am kind of upset even after requesting they didn’t care.

The Residence is pet friendly. Our room was spacious with 2 queen beds. Oceanfront with balcony. The was clean.
