Inch House is a Georgian Country Mansion dating from 1720 and situated on a working farm with wonderful views of the surrounding Tipperary hills.
The house has been lovingly restored to its former glory by the Egan family who purchased the property in 1985 in a state of near dereliction. Guests will enjoy the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in an Ireland of old and enjoy the luxury surrounding of the gentry of the day (Downton abbey style) in this unique Country House.
Inch House boasts six luxury en-suite bedrooms accommodating up to a maximum of 19 guests together with William Morris Style drawing room, Library-Bar where you can pour your own Guinness or Irish Whiskey, Grand dining room, halls, kitchen, a unique little Oratory to the side of the house and extensive gardens, woodlands and fresh spring lake.
There is a country house kitchen for guests to use if they wish to cater for themselves or we can arrange a private chef, on request, to cater for all or some of your stay at an additional cost. We are also happy to assist you in creating your own bespoke itinerary for your unique trip to Ireland. Given our extensive experience in the hospitality sector we would be delighted to assist in making your holiday extra special, arranging tours, transfers or directing you off the beaten track to the places only locals know for an impromptu Irish music session or finding you a five star culinary experience to remember. We also have a lot of experience in assisting the Irish diaspora in tracing their genealogy and Irish Heritage and are happy to assist in this regard if we can.
John & Nora, the proprietors, live on site in another building. They will be there to welcome guests and will be available for advice and information if needed. We aim to make our guests feel as relaxed as possible
For the weeks of Christmas, New Year and Easter, weekly stays will be charged at the high season rate.
