Likes: Very modern and clean, fairly close walking distance to shopping and restaurants, easy parking facility, and a very nice public bath on the top floor of the hotel. Dislikes: incredibly small room but the price was very reasonable so that was to be expected. Bed was too soft for me (some people may prefer a soft mattress), and the hotel is located smack in the midst of host bar area. I think the pros outweigh the cons. Overall I am quite satisfied with my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. Wish I had know this was the Kabukicho of Nagoya. I already live in Shinjuku so I was a little disappointed to stay in a similar area. Anyway. One thing is that my bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke almost every time I used it. I believe there are smoking or non smoking rooms ? Maybe it’s coming in the vents? I was hesitant to try the spa because I have tattoos so I wanted to enjoy the bathtub but the smell was unpleasant. Anyway it’s really small issue and the room was lovely and clean. The staff are so super nice and realistically the area is convenient for reaching main downtown areas :) thank you!

Well located hotel, near station and conveniences. Air conditioner temperature set was not possible, had to open window because temperature was high. Bath tube design make possible the water of shower flows outside, flooding the bathroom.

Great location
Within walking distance from the Sakae Subway Station, take exit 8 (with escalator) or take exit 13 which is nearest to hotel but without escalator. Helpful staff and spacious, clean room with large TV. Hotel comes with Indoor Spa tub. Stayed in December period, where the aircon is central-controlled. You can only adjust warm-setting or fan-setting. Cool-setting is not available during this period. Also a very thin pillow was provided. Need to go down to front desk to get another pillow. Overall satisfied with APA hotel services.

Mixed frelings about this place. Convenient location but smacked in the middle of seedy bars and night clubs. Only a very thin pillow was provided, however the bed was relatively comfortable. One specialty about all APA hotels is the onsen featured in every single hotels.

It is convenient to the shopping area, but is also surrounded by seedy nightclub area. The building‘s central heating system starts from November 3rd, which means you cannot have temperature control in your room. It is either letting the heating into the room or not have any ventilation at all. The room was so hot (27c ) and I couldn’t even open the window... the roof top public bath was okay though.
