Wonderful house in ancient village

Our holiday home is situated in the historic 12th century village of Cantobre, which is located in southern Aveyron in the Midi-Pyrenees region of France, and are set amidst spectacular countryside on a rocky promontory some 100 meters above the meeting of the Dourbie and Trevezel rivers.
Le Canard is typical village house. It offers great flexibility in numbers holidaying. The main house consists of a large dining sitting room with a built in kitchen and a wood burning stove and electric radiator heating. Within the main house there are two double bedrooms and a toilet shower room. All rooms have electric radiators.

Great stay in a delightful village
The gite was clean and homely, the views spectacular. Cantobre is a stunning little hamlet. Derrick and carol are great hosts. Hope to be back to this wonderful corner of France.

Très bon accueil et discrétion des propriétaires. Il ne faut pas craindre de monter des marches, mais le gite est agréable, propre et bien situé. Point de départ idéal pour de nombreuses randonnées.

Très bonne découverte
Nous voulions nous rendre aux failles de Canalette. Nous avons donc réservé le logement de Derrick Comme nous arrivions tard, il a eu la gentillesse de nous attendre. Le logement était très propre, dans un cadre vraiment très joli Nous gardons l’adresse précieusement !

Le gîte correspondait tout à fait à ce que nous attendions , Derrick et son épouse Carole sont discrets et charmants. La région est splendide et nous avons pu faire des randonnées, du canoë aussi bien que des visites de village, de marchés etc. Appréciation générale 100 pour cent positive. À refaire !😂

Très bon accueil Derrik dans sa maison . Nous étions en groupe et nous sommes régalés dans ce superbe village . Quelques problèmes d'évacuation dans une chambre mais Derrik a fait le nécessaire à chaque fois et un matelas très fatigué dans une chambre qui mériterait d'être changé. C'est les seuls points faibles car pour le reste nous avons passé un excellent séjour et Derrik et sa femme ont été très concilient. Superbe endroit !

Gîte atypique, confortable et entretenu
Nous étions 7 dont 3 enfants, les deux chambres a l'extérieur sont un peu dérangeantes. La literie de la chambre du bas à besoin de renouveau. Mais nous avons beaucoup aimé ce gite où l'on se sent comme à la maison, rien ne manque. Les propriétaires anglais sont très agréables. Malheureusement le beau temps n'a pas été trop présent. Très pratique pour les sportifs du Trail de la lune.
