The layout:

Common area: This loft style condo features an open floor plan consisting of a fully remodeled equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, Smart TV with cable, pull out sofa sleeper, ceiling fan, work desk, and extra sitting chairs.

Loft bedroom: Comfortable King size bed, closet space, and en suite bathroom. This bathroom features a custom walk in shower and single sink vanity with plenty of storage. The in unit washer/dryer is also located here.

Downstairs bedroom: This bedroom features a very comfortable queen size bed, ceiling fan, and plenty of clothing storage.

Downstairs bathroom: Updated walk in shower, toilet, and single sink vanity with plenty of storage.

Common area: This condo features an open floor plan consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, work desk, Smart TV with cable, pull out sofa sleeper, and extra sitting chairs.

Lanai: Dining table with 6 chairs and a sitting chair.

There is beach gear for your use which includes beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler in the closet near the front door.

We do have a $60 Damage Insurance Fee that covers up to $1500 in damage for our guests. Accidents happen and we have you covered.

This area offers restaurants, beach gear rentals, farmers market, and little shops all within walking distance. Close drive to Kapalua, Kaanapali, and Lahaina town this perfectly located on the westside. Hale Mahina has elevators, free parking, and is one of the best locations in the Honokowaii area.

PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular professional pest control services for pests such as ants, roaches, and rodents however they cannot be completely controlled in this part of the world.

Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. Heavenly Hale Mahina!
This was our second stay at the Hale Mahina Beach Resort, and it was amazing, again! If you are looking for a condo experience, this is the place. This complex cannot not be beat, with a private pool & spa, a nice grassy area to stretch out and their own beach just steps from your own condo…it is paradise. We lost count of the number of sea turtles we saw either swimming in the surf or resting on our beach over the week we were at Hale Mahina.This condo was well appointed, well stocked and beautifully renovated. The Loft bedroom gives you ocean views and the sounds of waves all night long. The second bedroom on the main floor gets amazing breezes off the mountain. The management team was very quick to respond to questions and were happy to make sure our experience was unforgettable. We had such an amazing stay and this condo is a bookmark for us for future trips to MAUI! Mahalo

Celebrating our daughter!
A very peaceful place to come in after a busy day cheering on the basketball teams. This visit was on our daughter’s bucket list for her 40th birthday. It did not disappoint. The only little hiccup of you can call it that, was not finding the pool/beach key by the door. But after looking through the condo we found it on a cabinet under the stairs Thank you for a lovely place to stay!

Great Location, Private Beach, Beautiful View
Overall great place to stay in terms of location, having an exclusive beach, seeing turtles, whales (in the far distance, bring binoculars), clean pool and jacuzzi, bbqs, tables, etc.). Condo is nice, has a beautiful view of the ocean, all the supplies you could need. Only complaints I had with the property was ants, roaches, and a tad noisy, especially if you're planning on having guests in the second bedroom. The ants/roach problem kept us from leaving out any dishes or food, even in the kitchen drawers. So everything had to be sealed really well, and ideally put in the Frederator. As for the second bedroom, it's right in front of the front door when you walk in, and right outside of it is the elevator which isn't the quiestest elevator in the world. If you're a light sleeper, you might be up a lot throughout the night. Overall, I enjoyed the stay, only a couple setbacks with the property.

Family girls trip
My Mother invited her two girls and adult granddaughters for a girls trip to Maui. We had a great time, having stayed at Hale Mahina many times before but only one other time in the pineapple condo. We love the views and seeing the whales is always fun. The condo had most everything that we needed to get started for our 9 day stay. The only thing that would have made our stay better would be some new pans (especially to fry eggs). We always had breakfast at the condo and over-easy eggs were not happening. Overall we had a great time together. thanks

Great Condo. Lots of room for a family of four with 2 adult children. Kitchen had everything you could need. The condo is on a small private beach. Saw sea turtles every day and good snorkeling. We loved our stay in Honokowai! The location of the condo was great--close to many beaches, shopping and restaurants. The condo itself was very nice. It was clean and equipped with anything you could need, from a day at the beach to cooking a family meal. Beds were comfy, view from the balcony was amazing. Staying here was literally the highlight of our trip! The private beach/sand/grass/pool set-up was absolute perfection. Unbelievably peaceful and beautiful. The condo had lots of upgrades and the beds were nicely comfortable. There is no A/C, which we're not used to, but ample fans were provided and we kept the windows open nearly the whole time which was not hard to do with the sound of the ocean so close!

Amazing Birthday Trip
The location and beauty of this property is amazing. I have been coming to Maui since 1972 and love this island. We has a great time and found that this location was very centrally located for all we wanted to do. The private beach is a game changer as well.

the unit was nice and very comfortable. the kitchen was small and workable. the best part was that we could sit outside and spot whales out far in the ocean. The only negative was that the glasses and dishes were sparse and not very nice. It would have been great if there was a little better selection of dishware and, more so, glasses.
