First off, Carmen’s was an absolute gem! She had amazing communication and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. The room was impeccable, clean, great AC, easy to get to, and comfortable. They partner with Gran Caffe Novara across the street for breakfast which was amazing! The location is super central with easy access to the metro and not far from the airport at all! Highly recommend and look forward to coming back whenever in Napoli again! Napoli was such a treasure to visit with a lively atmosphere. Grazie Mille Carmen e Napoli!

This was our 2nd time in the month of August staying here. It is only a short walk to the train station, so it was convenient for our travels along the Amalfi Coast. Check-in is a challenge because it is not your typical hotel where there is always someone at the front desk. This is shown online as a hotel, but the sign out front says Il Divino “ bed & breakfast”, so this way they get around having someone at the desk check you in. The check-in person is Sophia, who lives elsewhere in Naples, so you need to make sure you communicate constantly with her about your arrival time by train or plane, and she will come and meet you at the door to let you in. Because the door to get in is ALWAYS locked! This is a good thing because the place is very private and secure. So, we texted regularly with Sophia and all went well. If she can’t be there at your time of arrival, she will give you a code to get in. Then there is an elevator up to your room and everything is wonderful! You enter a lovely, immaculate clean and spacious room, with air conditioning and fantastic shower with huge, soft towels, and even a couple of pairs of slippers to wear, also bath gels that smell so nice! We love this place and will be back again. There are even free vouchers for breakfast at the cafe’ across the street. Thank you again to Sophia for arranging our arrival again. She is the sweetest, kindest, person..and we hope she is there the next time we come to Naples!

IL Divino was a great place to stay. The room was so clean with air con. Close to train station and a nice walk to the shops. Sophia was super, very informative and very helpful on the check-in. She made sure we had no unanswered questions before letting us get on with our stay. Would highly recommend and hopefully be back again.

Great modern room just steps from Napoli Centrale

The location was ideal for coming from the train station as it is only 4 minutes walk down the same street. A key card is needed to access the courtyard from the street, the building’s main door, the Il Divino entrance and then our room. We felt it was both safe and secure and the building has a lift so you don’t have to carry your suitcases up multiple stairs. The room & it’s bathroom were beautiful, modern & very clean! We loved our room here. We were welcomed by our host and had a great stay! Expect to walk a bit more to some of the more touristy areas but nothing extraordinary!

Room was very clean & enough space. Very nice to have vouchers for breakfast at a great cafe’ across the street. Bed was nice and big and pillows were great. A nice addition were the complimentary slippers found in the bathroom. However, check-in was a nightmare after having travelled almost 14 hours to get there.. bad communication. The check in person was supposed to be at reception waiting for us. The place was difficult enough to find and we got there only to find the entrance door locked and nobody there to let us in. Lucky that a young couple were returning to their room and let us in and were kind enough to call the person in charge to let her know we had arrived. Other than that, it was a nice quiet place to stay,

Do not stay here. I truly cannot understand how this place is as highly rated as it is… This hotel is completely misleading, as it’s actually a bed and breakfast…without even really having a breakfast. You get a voucher for a place ACROSS THE STREET where you get 1 mediocre baked good and 1 coffee. Nothing else. Both days we were there, the comforter was stained. Not sure with what. Hotel staff was kind, but the system is very clearly not run well. She had to take a picture of our passports rather than inputting the data into a system, which I didn’t love. The area itself is incredibly dirty and sketchy. You can’t walk anywhere without feeling unsafe or anxious, so you end up spending a ton on taxis which already don’t want to pick you up because it’s a short/cheap fair. Naples is definitely a place to spend extra and get a nice hotel in a nice area, and that is not this. While the interior was clean and updated of the specific “hotel” areas, it’s in a building with a really tiny door and super sketchy tiny lift that really cannot accommodate luggage or multiple people. We ended up just walking up and down the 3 flights of stairs with our bags because the lift was so sketchy. Again, spend the extra and stay somewhere better.

No front door to enter without someone letting you in, and no one was available when we arrived. Had to sit in a dirty courtyard that smelled like trash and wait for staff to arrive. This was advertised as a hotel but is definitely not a hotel! It was more like abnb which is fine if you know that’s what you are paying for but is false advertising. Surrounding area did not seem safe to walk back from dinner in the dark. Staff was very friendly and helpful once she arrived. Would definitely never choose to stay there again.

While not located in best area of Naples (though being close to train station & Metro stops were very convenient), the lobby/room was clean/quiet and tucked away from the city hubbub once inside. Great for a short stay with less luggage, though there is a small lift, which you can’t find everywhere. Can’t say enough about the excellent staff worker/attendant Sofia, who was a wonderful help!

The place is being advertised as a hotel but is a bed and breakfast. The power went out the morning of our checkout and we were unable to access our room to get our luggage, and we had a train to catch. It was a nice room and had all the needed amenities, but does not have the convenience and luxury necessities you would get with an actual hotel and 24/7 staff.

The lady at check-in was very kind and helpful and guided us thru everything. The room was in excellent condition, just as pictured! Would come back again. Metro station is less than 10 min walk. Everything conveniently located. Def recommend!
