First, the room was so small that we literally couldn't open our luggage up on the floor. We don't mind small rooms, as we don't spend time in the room, but this was ridiculous. It was a long walk from the ferry port, but the worse part was that there was really no way to get there without hauling our luggage up city steps. In hindsight, we would've taken a cab from the ferry. There is NO ELEVATOR, so we had to lug our very heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs! The lights for the building stairs are hard to find, so the first time we did this in the dark! There really is no staff. There was someone there to check us in, but left right after, and they aren't there at night (we know now to check for 24/7 Concierge). Although the bathroom is modernized, the room is just too small. Additionally, we weren't allowed to have any extra towels, pillows or blankets! The included breakfast is 3 buildings away in the Pin8 cafe, and only included a coffee and a pastry. The only highlight was the manager of the cafe sings and plays the piano (if you ask him) while you sip your cappuccino. Bottom line, make sure you get a hotel with an elevator, and stay somewhere else.
