Very nice stay
We only stayed for one night but the room was very clean and spacious. We called to see if we could check in early and they called me to let me know when my room was ready which was nice. I loved that they give you a “bold” coffee choice in the room, most places don’t and I like my coffee strong lol Would definitely stay here again.

The boathouse is charming and convenient. It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of where we currently live. You could even rent a boat for the week and docket at the motel, which makes it very convenient. I will definitely be staying there again.

We staycationed here one night for a quick weekend getaway. Everything was as described. The room was clean, fresh, spacious, and had everything we needed (they did inform us beforehand that we would need to bring our own toiletries). We were within walking distance to the Snook Inn where we had dinner and drinks. We came back around sunset and enjoyed the spacious rear deck where there are fishing poles available and even cut/wash stations for guests! Such a charming, cozy, tropical hideaway off the beaten path. We highly recommend The Boat House.

Sand fleas in the bed and on furniture. Floor was not clean. The air conditioner is noisy coming on and off. Kept waking us up! After the first night they moved us to a different room that was much better except for the noisy AC. The location on the water is nice and the deck is really nice.

Don’t waste time or money
This was rated wonderful and it is nothing but that. It is very rundown and in a dark part of town. Felt unsafe and actually didn’t stay. There was a sign next to the toilet paper roll that said they had problems with the septic system. The owners were nice and gave us our money back but some improvements need to be made on the property.

We couldn’t have been more impressed with The Boat House. Though the property is older, the rooms are HUGE, spotlessly clean and beautifully updated. Everything was lovely and it was very reasonably priced. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Beautiful view of the water from the dock. We will recommend and stay again without a doubt. We walked to dinner and breakfast as well. Thank you for such a delightful stay!
