The Space:
Macquarie River View by Tiny Away is located in the charming rural town of Narromine, just 4-hours away from Canberra nearby Dubbo City, Dubbo Zoo, and Black Tambourine. The perfect countryside getaway set up next to an old Cobb and Co station with all the modern amenities of home, surrounded by vast open spaces along the Macquarie River—where you can enjoy peaceful picnics or simply relax by the tranquil streams of the river.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that the farm is on bore water, which should expected as the tiny house is situated in a rural area. Best to bring your own drinking water
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the surrounding property, except for the hosts' private residence. As an added note, we advise guests to make a note of the precise location to ensure a safe return to their accommodation as there are no clearly demarcated paths in the area.

- Kayak rental is avaiable for $20 a day
- Fishing Rod is available also for $15 a day
- Firewood is available for an extra cost of $35 per bag
- Mobile reception is patchy; Telstra & Optus have good signal, and Vodafone has weak signal
The Neighborhood:
Macquarie River View by Tiny Away sits 40 minutes from the city of Dubbo in the charming rural town of Narromine, only a 10 km bike ride to town, boasting cafes, pubs, and parks. Engage in lawn bowls, explore the aviation museum, and enjoy river fishing. Narromine is currently home to the annual National Ultra-Light Fly-In Festival (NATFLY) which takes place every Easter weekend.
Other annual events include the National Gliding Championships in January, the Easter Fishing Competition, the Tomingley Picnic Races in April, the Mungery Muster B&S Ball in August, the Narromine Agricultural Show, and the Mungery Picnic Races in September, the Chute Out Bullride in November and the NSW Gliding Championship in December.

- Dubbo Zoo, formerly known as Western Plains Zoo is home to a variety of exotic animals, an assortment of attractions, and exclusive experiences.
- Old Dubbo Gaol's origins as a courthouse lockup in 1847 evolved with the region's growth. Its immersive exhibitions reveal stories of criminals' suffering, with theatrical performances and thrilling After Dark tours exploring penal life.
- Cobb & Co originated during the early 1850s gold rushes and was a popular mode of transportation for stagecoaches and mail to reach remote towns and goldfields. Now, a popular scenic route that travels between Grandchester and Toowoomba passing through fertile, agricultural areas in the Lockyer Valley.

Getting Around:
By car:
- From Narromine, turn at the inland petroleum and head out the Old Warren Rd past the golf club.
- Then, on your left keep the Macquarie River on your right for 10.92 km. On your right, you will enter over a ramp and your destination is 200 metres ahead of you past Narromine's old Cob & Co house under renovations.

By public transport:
- 40 min drive from Dubbo Airport
- Guests can take a 40-minute flight from Sydney to Narromine
- There is a 7-hour bus ride once a day that travels to neighbouring Dubbo, where you can transfer to Narromine on a 40-minute bus ride leaving morning and night. Taxi service is available in Narromine that can take you to and from the accommodation located 10 km from the town.

- Gas BBQ available to use all year round, each tiny house has its BBQ area
- Firewood is available for an extra cost of $35 per bag; not available during fire ban
- Outdoor firepit is not available to use during a total fire ban from 1st September through to March.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings

- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Safety guidelines
- Please be safe around the river and never go out alone
- We recommend that guests inform their land host before going out, especially near the river
- Given the farm and rural setting, CHILDREN ARE WELCOME UNDER CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION
Farm guidelines
- Expect farm machinery at times will be working in the fields
- We have free-roaming farm animals (and noise) on our property.
- Please do not enter animal paddocks without the land host's permission
- Please keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban from 1st September through April.
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
