The hotel was nice, within easy walking distance of Broadway but enough off the path that it was quieter. The only thing I didn't like was the incredibly dark hallways for the rooms but everything else was good.

We were told upon arrival valet was available 24/7. For our arrival no one was present and we had to leave the keys at the front desk after I went in to ask. We were instructed to use the QR code on the tag when we needed the car. The morning of departure we did that as soon as we got up knowing we wouldn’t take long to get out the door. After waiting outside 10 minutes I went to ask about the status of the car. Upon entry to the reception area, a staff member was on her cellphone with her legs propped up on the desk and stated “oh they are at another location the probably didn’t get the request” when I inquired about our car. She stated she would call them. After 30 minutes we still not have our vehicle and no one in sight. After my husband went to the desk, a different staff member was quite unhelpful in finding out the status. After 40-45 minutes we finally got the car… I simply would not stay here for the lack of communication, unprofessionalism, and lack of service. If valet were busy it would be one thing, but at 5am this was not the case… I would pay a little more to stay somewhere that runs properly and has more attentive staff.

The hotel was about to be closed, no gallery, basically they were dismantling. The rate was high for the amenities available at that time.

First impression was not good with road construction out front. Then we get inside and find out that the hotel has switched to a Hilton effective our first day. No unique gallery, empty gallery spaces, just bare walls with a couple fabric "art pieces." It's now been named something along the lines of tapestry hotel. Hallways were very dim, room was nice and clean though with no view, but at least it didn't face construction. No microwave or fridge. If you wanted ice you needed to go to the bar to fill the ice bucket. And the piece de resistance.. housekeeping failed to leave more than a 1/4 roll of TP after servicing the room, so we needed to call down to the front desk. Talk about skimping. Otherwise the stay went off without a hitch. Other guests were complaining about no AC which thankfully was not an issue for us as it felt like over 40 degrees celsius.

The front entrance to the hotel was closed due to construction, but we were not made aware in advance. This caused what normally would have been a small detour. However, traffic in the area was in a gridlock due to a nearby stadium concert. We called to ask how to get to the makeshift hotel entrance (due to the construction) and were told to “just put it in our GPS.” We finally figured out how to cut through an alley and luckily were SAVED by the valets. We had to check in and rush to the stadium without much attention to our room other than dropping off luggage. We returned late, hot and tired and thought it odd there were no washcloths. The next morning upon showering we realized the bathroom still had used towels and coat hangers from prior guests. We reported this to the desk and were rushed clean linens. All this to say, the hotel staff we encountered and the valets who rescued us from the horrific traffic jam salvaged our stay. The poor guys were doing the best they could with what had been apparently dumped on them that weekend. We paid over $1000 for those 2 nights. Had I known all we would encounter, I would have booked The Bobby or Indigo - mere blocks away. Downside to that would have been losing the amazing customer service of the gentlemen who at least tried to make our stay better.

The air conditioner was either broke or I undersized as our room never cooled below 75 degrees. There was a leak at the sink and every time you turned it on water would spray on your legs. There was no hair dryer in the room. When we called the front desk to discuss these issues no one ever answered. Also, no one answered the phone we we called to try to order room service. We would not stay here again.

Location was great. Had to pay over $500 for one night for 1 king deluxe room. Then had to pay $55 for valet parking because they couldn’t give a recommendation for parking. That same valet service took about 45 minutes to retrieve vehicle. Most of hotel staff was pleasant and is probably doing the best they can but price paid was not worth this hotel. It was a busy weekend and that’s supply and demand but max price for this hotel should be 200 and only for location.

Rough ownership transition
Our stay was disappointing. 21C had just switched to Tapestries by Hilton. I fully paid for 2 rooms each with king-size beds for my husband and I as well as for my parents for 2 nights. When we checked into the hotel, the front staff informed us that there was only 1 room booked for the 4 of us even though I showed them my confirmation of having fully paid for 2 rooms in advance. Many other patrons were having this same issue. They didn't attempt to make it right either. The 4 of us stayed in 1 room for 2 evenings. All the front would tell us is that we would need to contact our third-party booking to inform them of the situation. The hotel would not refund us for the other room. After check in, the stay didn't go much better. The bathroom sink drain didn't work. We actually had to brush our teeth in the shower. The shower curtain only covered half of the shower. The exhaust fan didn't function. Housecleaning didn't take out the trash in the bedroom which was full. The halls are very dimly lit; however, one could still see that they needed vacuumed. We had only been notified of the ownership change about 1 month prior to our stay. We had been looking forward to seeing the artwork for the 21C hotel. All displays had been removed already which I understand with the ownership change. Hilton had not put up decor yet. I never found an ice machine or a vending machine. The only redeeming quality of this hotel as it currently stands is the location...

We had high hopes for 21c Nashville but it did not live up to our expectations. The property is under renovations, which is fine, but there was little art on display as a result, and that was a disappointment and we were not made aware of this when we made the reservations. Also, the hallway lighting is incredibly dim and that made it difficult to find our way around. I understand the vibe they are going for with the darkened halls, but it was disconcerting. In addition, the water-bottle fillers were few and far between. Finally, the staff was cordial, but not overly friendly. We would have liked a bit more positive interaction. Overall, the experience was average. I doubt we will stay here in the future. Thank you.

Couldn’t turn on street due to construction. Once we finally found a place to park (after paying $20) we had to go search for the hotel. Entrance was very hard to find and no visible signage. Once located and checked in, we asked where to park and the only option they gave was to PAY for valet. I had already paid to park just to find the property. At this point I’m PISSED!! We finally get to our room, drop our luggage, rush to get ready for our event (running late at this point due to parking issues), and head back out. At the end of the evening we get back to our room and are ready to call or a night. We get ready for bed, plug our phones in to charge, to now find out that the provided USB charging station, in the room, DID NOT work. Then we notice that the bed covering had multiple, very obvious, stains on it. I paid over $400 for a one night stay!! I should have at least had clean bedding, working amenities, and a FREE place to park. RIDICULOUS!! I will NEVER stay again or recommend!!!
