Horse trails galore. Because of the many antiques present in and around the house, children are not permitted on premises. Hot tub available ($50 cleaning and set-up fee).
The Space:
This 60's ranch house Four bedroom ranch house (4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathroom) is furnished with eclectic antique furniture. It is surrounded by acres and acres of naturral space.with vast front and back meadows. Located in magnificent pristine valley, part of a large conservation easement. No neighbors (except the wonderful guests sharing the house. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of meadow, forest, and stream. Dark star-filled sky. Walking trails begin just outside your door! Hike through the meadow, over the bridge, across the road, through the forest, and on to The Fork Inn to meet our staff and other intrepid guests.
Guest Access:
All common spaces (kitchen, living room, laundry, outside porches and patio) are available for your use. Outdoor hot tub ($50 additional fee for cleaning and chemical setup). You may drive or take a pleasant walk to Big East Fork Farms and Lake Gratitude. Contact Center for Sustainble Fellowship
Other Things to Note:
The Big East Fork Valley is a 7000 acres natural gem. The Farm Shelter is a great place to eat and very close to friendly farm animals including our cute piggies. Visit the Center for Sustainable Stewardship to obtain bicycles, hiking guides, paddles and canoes or kyaks to enjoy Lake Gratitude and picnic by waters edge.
We are seven miles from historic Leipers Fork (Distillery tours, Puckett's Live Music - don't miss Thursday night's open mic) and Franklin (old time Main Street, fancy restaurants, boutique shopping). Nashville honky tonks are 23 miles away, midtown 19 miles away.
Interaction with Guests:
We live just down the road. Call if you need anything. I live a couple of houses away. I stop by to say hello and make sure everything is working okay.
