Almost excellent….
Took my daughter and granddaughter here for Christmas Eve. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The employees were great overall. We had an overly pushy cleaning lady that started knocking at 9 am when checkout wasn’t until 11. We ate at Cascades and it was definitely overpriced. $50 for a ribeye that was just ok and specialty gingerbread drink that was basically a shot of whiskey with a cinnamon stick. Also for $500 a night, some kind of Christmas goody bag would have been ice. But I will come back for the view and luxury.

Disappointed
Disappointing Stay Our recent stay at the Nashville resort was a mix of positives and major disappointments. The “ICE!” events were a highlight, and the atrium spaces were stunning, especially with the festive Christmas decorations. Dining at The Old Hickory restaurant was also a memorable experience with excellent food and service. Unfortunately, the room was a complete letdown. There was rust around the bathroom door, cracked and peeling ceiling paint above the bathtub (which we documented with photos), and an unpleasant musty smell. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, feeling like a pile of old blankets. To make matters worse, the room lacked soundproofing, and we could hear every conversation in the hallway. The sleepless night left us exhausted, and the conditions were so unbearable that we decided to leave by 9 PM on the second night—even though we paid $1,500 for two nights. Adding insult to injury, we were charged $37 per day for parking. For the price of staying on the property, it’s ridiculous to pay extra for parking. Overall, this was the most expensive and frustrating hotel experience we’ve had. If we ever visit again, we’ll stay elsewhere and come only to enjoy the attractions. Save your money!

My wife and I have traveled all over the world and stayed in all types of hotels and resorts. This is by far the worst. There are limited dining venues for families. The resort is overcrowded and very noisy. The rooms are horrible. The walls are paper thin and the guest room doors slam shut. Nearly impossible to get any rest. I will never be back and I will never recommend this resort. For the money they charge you would think things would be better.

The property is beautiful. Parking was not a good experience. Had to park way far away. Closer lots were closed. Will use vallet next time. They were covered up this time and thought we would self park. Big mistake.

The property was beautifully decorated. Our dinner was good, enjoyed the boat ride. We waited AN HOUR in the Marriott Bonvoy members line to check in. That was certainly a disappointment.
