The House of Grace at the historic Pilot Knob Estate is the main home build in the early 1800's that has been fully restored. This 3 bedroom cabin sleeps up to 13 guests and is one of three properties on a quiet, private 3 acre lakefront estate.
The home sits on the front of the property with a lakeview and is surrounded by trees that offer the ability to explore with a short hike that leads you to the water's edge so you and your guest can enjoy time & activities by the water.
The outdoor area features 3 covered porches and a side deck. The back covered porch is oversized and overlooks the in-ground salt water pool. The exterior also has ample outdoor seating, a fire pit, and grill—perfect for an evening under the stars!
The home is designed to provided spaces for connection and restoration for you and your guests. On the main floor, you can gather in the living room for great conversation or game night, enjoy lounge time in the library, and there's plenty of room for everyone to eat a family-style meal around the big table in the dining room.

We loved the property!! We had plenty of space for everyone staying. The large dining room table was great for our big group for meals and card games. The house was clean and well kept. Great communication with the hosts, responses within a short period of time from them.
The pool was beautiful and tempt well for the time of year.

Log cabin dream
We had a lovely time running around with the kids playing football, having a movie night with kiddos when it was raining and plenty of space to play hide and seek. Really conveniently located next to a grocery store. Went for mexican nearby Garcia's Taqueria was very tasty! The shutters were a little noisy with the wind at night and a tv turned on a couple times without remote prompting so we had to unplug, otherwise it was quiet retreat. Saw wild turkeys roaming early and barely heard a rooster in the far distance - very lovely!

The most unique property you can stay at
I wish I had more time to go into detail about how amazing this place is. We were fortunate enough to book the big house for a few days and nobody was staying at the other two houses on the property. The big house is like being inside a museum - you immediately feel like you have stepped back in time as soon as you pull up, and even more so once you enter the front doors. This isn’t just a unique property - it is an experience. We had some friends suggest the house was haunted just because it’s so old, but honestly, we all felt very peaceful here. We wanted to stay longer!
Beyond that, the house and property are well-maintained and modern where appropriate, but the house is mostly original and has been preserved incredibly well. The kitchen is the most modern part of the house and worked really well for us when we had some guests visit for a day. The large dining room is perfect for gathering, but the back porch and pool out back are where we spent most of our time visiting with everyone because the weather was absolutely perfect. The kids loved all of the rooms upstairs, it’s amazing how big the house is when you’re walking through. You keep thinking that’s the end and then you open another door and you’re in another unique room.
The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back and next time we’re planning on renting all three houses for extended family to stay near us! Thanks!

Two Family TN Vacation
This was the perfect house and location for us. Two families, plenty of space to spread out. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to enjoy a family vacation
We had a wonderful time at this historic home at Pilot Knob! It is a great place to enjoy our family vacation! The host (Rachel) was extremely helpful and responsive; it was top notch! Definitely worth it!

TN Getaway
This property was a great location for a weekend getaway with my family. The home was well taken care of and the property manager was very helpful with any questions we had. With only being 25 min. away from downtown Nashville I was able to attend my continuing education course while my family enjoyed the home and property. We are looking forward to booking again, highly recommended for large get together or a mutli family vacation.

Perfect place for a big group of friends or family
The place is very huge, clean and at a convenient location. The host Rachel was very sweet, helpful and responsive when ever we had questions. The place comes with a pool which was prefect for our long weekend and all our friends had a very good time. Would definitely recommend this place.
