Whoever has rated this a four star hotel clearly has never actually stayed at a four star hotel. More like a two star property that bears little resemblance to the advertised photos. Both mattresses were stained with black spots along the seams and two live bugs were found crawling on the same mattresses. We were in and out in five minutes. The hotel’s response to the mattress issue, looks good to them and felt the need to tell us our room is a “10/10” room. The operator believes running a hotel and hospitality involves taking peoples money and little else. Further, if you believe booking with Expedia provides you with any consumer protection, you would be incorrect. Despite telling us that “Expedia was with us,” they kindly offered us a coupon for less than a McDonald’s happy meal for two. Needless to say this property is not recommended.

Nice stay in Nazare
Clean and comfortable room away from the beach noise in Nazaré. Nice pool and good breakfast. On site parking is convenient and safe for an additional 5 euros.
