The idyllic farmhouse "Wisli" - well over 100 years old - was renovated in style and lovingly, so that the charming hut character could be maintained. Creaking wooden floorboards and beams, crackling wood in the stove that you heat - in short: pure alpine romance! Next door is the stable from old times. And so that the clich������������������������������������ is complete, only the Alpöhi with Heidi and the godfather should come around the corner :-)

 In the "Wisli" you live in a semi-detached house surrounded by greenery, in a quiet idyllic location with a wonderful view of the symbol of Toggenburg - the Churfirsten: Chäserrugg, Hinderrugg, Schibenstoll and Zuestoll.

This holiday home is ideal for large families, small groups or friendly couples (ideal for 4-6 pers.). A generous seat is included - in the summer ready for the barbecue, where traditionally the Swiss national sausage - the Cervelat - and the St. Galler-Bratwurst sausage must not be missed of course.
Of course, the typical "village butcher" is missing. Furthermore, there is the Dörfli stone popular bakery with local specialties and the associated café and a restaurant with home-style cuisine.

The "Wisli" is divided into a large living room with sofa bed and tiled stove, 2 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms and large kitchen with dining area.

Access to the house all year round. The next bus stop can be reached in a leisurely 8-minute walk.

Experience the typical mountain village of Stein, an idyllic 383-soul village, which is embedded in the mountains of Obertoggenburg. As you approach the village, the majestic Churfirsten captivate your eyes. Arrived, the valley opens and gives the view free on Speer, Neuenalpspitz, Stockberg and Goggeien, where directly at the foot of this mountain your holiday house "Wisli" stands.

In Stein you can experience something! An ideal hiking area awaits you. Follow the Thur River and discover hidden beauties. Or hike along the Dürrenbach, which lies 100m behind your holiday home "Wisli". Impressive is also the protection against flood, which was built at that time. Or climb up and enjoy the wonderful view of the alpine area.

 In 1905, the birth of the Toggenburg ski run was born in Stein - on the Häderenberg near Stein, which was sponsored by a small ski factory (a local joinery), by producing the first skis!

Today Stein is an attractive starting point for snowshoers and touring skiers, hikers, bikers, paragliders. Thanks to its excellent panoramic view, the Stockberg is a popular destination both in summer and in winter.

In short: peace and relaxation on the one hand and the wide variety of leisure activities on the other.
