Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape nestled in the Sierra Foothills, within walking distance to beautiful Scotts Flat Lake and our quaint General Store & Cafe. Just a 10/15 minute drive to historic downtown Nevada City. In December you don't want to miss Victorian Christmas! We have many different hiking/biking trails all around us. Go for a little 20 minute drive to visit the beautiful Empire Mine State Park with it's gorgeous grounds and rich history. We have many wonderful wineries and excellent restaurants in Nevada City or Grass Valley.
Feel free to enjoy your morning coffee/tea outdoors (weather permitting) among the fragrant pines and then head out for all the fun activities this area has to offer. Or if you prefer stay in and enjoy free wifi and smart tv access and/or a relaxing bubble bath.

Getaway and recharge .
Just minutes from town this was an awsome place to stay . The camper had much more than we expected. Spent time at Scott’s Flat Lake on the paddle boards , our favorite place to be on the water, huge plus is it is just down the road . Host was great ! We would definitely stay there again .

This Scotts Flat Lake area is a hidden gem if you love the forested outdoors and uncrowded water-skiable lakes. And unparalleled star-gazing surrounded by tall pines. Great dining options 20 minutes away in Nevada City, another California gem. A homey and romantic trailer that the hosts put a lot of love into, you can tell. We loved it too.

Happiness is Cascade Caravan
First impression - immaculate property - such a lovely and serene property. Hosts have done everything to make this a perfect little getaway and it's all in the details - from the warm french bread, wine, and chocolates to the robes, slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste in the bathroom. Beautifully decorated interior and lovely thoughtful touches on the exterior including the fire pit, bbq and lighting. The Cascade Caravan is delightful in every way!
