Come Escape to the Texas Hill Country and the Guadalupe River. Stay in your own getaway right on the water. Watch the sun set over a ridge, feed the deer in your front lawn or just kick back, relax and watch the river ease on by. We are located on the upper part of the river between the 3rd and 4th crossing about 10 minutes from Canyon Lake and about 15 minutes from New Braunfels.

Great cabin
I stayed here for 3 months while I was looking for a house. The location is convenient and beautiful. It is a perfect getaway on the river with lots of wildlife. The owner is very responsive. I hated to leave.

Great Place
The house is perfect for a small group. The location is amazing and the little dock is perfect to fish off of or just sit and watch the water. It is our 2nd time to stay and we will definitely be booking again. The host is easy to communicate with and quick with responses.

Second Stay-Second Time LOVING It
This was our second stay on the property and as last year, we loved it. It was perfect for our family of 4, super clean, great river access, and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and made cooking easy. Can't wait to stay again next year!

Long weekend looking for serene tranquility
The property inside was clean, comfortable and as presented. However, the exterior was sorely overlooked. The front lawn appeared to not having been mowed in a month and all windows are covered in thick spider webs and bugs. You can’t appreciate the view of the river and beautiful tree canopy from inside.

Great and Easy Getaway
The house was just as described and very well stocked with all of the amenities one would need. My favorite part was having my coffee on the deck by the water. The beds were comfortable. The tube rental was super close, and they were so friendly. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Our family (9 yo son, 16 yo daughter, hubby, & I) stayed in this quaint home for the weekend & had a fantastic time! The location couldn't have been better. We had an absolute blast fishing, tubing & attending a concert at Whitewater amphitheater. The beds were comfortable & the house was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Quaint place on river
Great house on the Guadalupe. Location is great for people that want to tube or get out to scenic near by towns. River a little low so getting in and out at the property is a little challenging if older. There is a rope to assist.

Great place for small family trip
Great location on River rd- especially if you want to be close to whitewater amphitheater/the horseshoe/canyon lake AND new braunfels. Only wish is that the private entry into the river had easier access to exit with a railing or something to pull up on to. River is deeper than we realized upon booking but great spot. Maybe not great for small kids as the decking doesn’t have railing either and it made me nervous even with my 11 year old walking around on it. Would stay here again- great location and just what we needed

Clean & Bright Riverfront
The place is nice and bright and very clean! It has a beautiful view of the Guadalupe River from the covered deck, which was our go-to place most of our time there. It would have been a bonus if it were screened in but overall the bugs weren't too much of an issue. There was plenty of wildlife on the river which we love. We saw large fish, a turtle, ducks, heron, and snakebirds. The water was lower than I expected, so due to my mobility issues, I wasn't able to step into the river from the property. There's tubing and a bunch of other places in the area to enjoy the river though. We had a great time. We only had to contact our hosts once with a minor question but they got back to us immediately which we appreciated. Many thanks to our gracious hosts for letting us enjoy life on the river for a little while.

We’ve been coming to Sadler Texas for about 14 years and have rented quite frequently from Robert and VRBO. Love the location love the scenery and would recommend this House Rental to anyone. Awesome river Escape
The house perfectly positioned on the Guadalupe river was very clean and well equipped. Nice furniture, comfy beds, kitchen well stocked for those who still love to cook. I couldn’t get enough of the view off the deck down by the river. Peaceful quiet neighborhood.
