Convenient location
The hotel is clean and modern. Great price. There is a hotel restaurant, which although very convenient was somewhat of a letdown. Service was extremely slow and pasta came out cold. By 6 they had no chicken for their wings or Caesar salad. It was a limited menu to begin with so this certainly didn’t help. Sadly, the flight of fries was the best thing to come out of the kitchen that night. Parking was $26. We had paid for late checkout but the garage is owned separately so doesn’t acknowledge this. Get the room, call for delivery food.

The staff were very professional and accommodating. They were beyond the duties to make us feel welcomed. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. I have travel several times a year, this hotel by far punches above its weight. I highly recommend

My daughter and I were amazed at how clean and comfy our room was and hotel atmosphere was warm and inviting. We foind out they have a live band jazz night on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The band(11/26) was fantastic. They provide secure garage parking for $24 per day. The gym provided enough equipment for a nice workout.

New Haven in November
We stayed for 2 nights. Aside from a loud party in the hotel lobby going on when we checked in, the stay was excellent as far as the hotel is concerned. It seemed like the hotel was recently renovated; it's in excellent condition. I wish parking was free.

The location was just a stone throw away from the New Haven green, giving great options for recreations and dining. Transportation was not an issue, with regular busses going to even the more remote locations in the city.

Due to a cancelled flight, we couldn’t arrive New Haven for the reserved hotel. It was already prepaid for 2 nights through Expedia. I’m in the process of claiming travel insurance. They required a document stating that the prepaid charges are not refundable. I had contacted the hotel and they will not provide refund. They also will not provide a document required by the travel insurance. So please help to provide an email stating that the prepaid hotel charges are not refundable. Thanks!

If you are hoping to get a good night's sleep, this may not be the place for you. My room had a smoke detector with a blinking light that kept us up all night. I felt like there was a photographer in my room all night taken my photo using a flash every 10 seconds. I complained to the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do - that all of the rooms had smoke detectors with blinking lights. My sleep was disrupted, which in turn disrupted my enjoyment of my trip.
