I like the proximity to Yale's campus. I did not like the following issues: -Loud construction noise and limited access to the lobby during our stay with no forewarning. -Lack of hot water in my room, necessitating 5 visits from engineering to remedy the problem. -No phone in my room- escalated 3xs- still no phone in the room

Great location. Front desk staff was great. Rooms are small and obviously outdated. Parking is bad and insufficient. Very narrow entry/exit with concrete walls on both sides and very little room to maneuver. If you are driving anything bigger than a mid size sedan, be careful.

The property was under construction, which I can appreciate. They are trying to improve it. However, there was loud banging and when I called the front desk about it at 9:45pm at night I was told by the receptionist that it was the construction and it should be finished in the next 5 minutes.

This property is close to Yale, but directly adjacent to a filthy section of town that is overrun with unhoused individuals and gangs of teenagers who are in the streets yelling all night long.

Only three stars because they were renovating and there was a mess on the main floor and outside. The elevators were dusty from all the workers using it. On both days, we were told that the water would be shut off intermittently. If I had known, I would have booked elsewhere. Nonetheless the room itself was very nice and clean, the beds and linens comfy, and good service/housekeeping.
