About this property

Trinity Hill Bed & Breakfast - Four Blocks from Downtown Riverfront

Trinity Hill Bed and Breakfast is an entire house rental in New Haven, MO. It is a circa 1887 one-story frame church built in the Gothic Revival style with a corner bell tower. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, and a private sleeping area in a private corner in the main room with a king canopy bed. Breakfast is included and delivered to your door. Locally roasted full pot coffee packets and teas are provided.

Over the years the inn served as a Baptist Church, Lutheran Church and the town library. In 2018, hosts Ted and Erin purchased the unique property and converted it to a private residence. New oak flooring was installed in the former sanctuary and bedroom, and ceramic tile in the anteroom, kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The full kitchen in the former altar area features designer cabinets, granite counter tops, a gas stove in the center island, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The 1,000 sq. ft. main room features six custom made lantern style chandeliers and six Gothic arched windows with amber stained glass. The ceramic tiled bathroom features a full-size walk-in shower. The private bedroom has a Queen bed. The décor features vintage style furnishings, an eclectic art collection and library. If you sing or play an instrument the acoustics are great.

Trinity Hill is on a corner lot in a historic residential area. Guests enter from the rear parking area through the side door into the mudroom. This door has a keypad lock. A code will be texted to the guest prior to their scheduled arrival time. The property is also wheelchair accessible from the parking area. There is outside seating, a charcoal BBQ and room to play. An adjoining parking lot is available for oversized vehicles.

The Missouri River and the Downtown Historic District are just blocks away where you will find unique shops and places to eat. Downtown is also home to Pinkney Bend Distillery and the Paddle Stop Brewery. The Old School Museum is in the same block as Trinity Hill B&B and private tours can be provided by your hosts. Robller Vineyard is just 2 miles away and there are several restaurants within one mile.

New Haven is in the middle of Missouri Wine Country. The award winning wineries of Hermann, MO are 15 miles to the west and the Augusta American Viticultural Area, the first wine region in America, is 20 miles to the east.

Most Unique Experience!
My husband and I stay at a lot of properties for nearby weekend getaways, but I truly believe this one was the neatest one yet. The character of the old church, the inviting decor, and the fact that the hosts preserved a lot of the unique features of this building was spectacular. The area was quiet, but very close to Pinckney Bend and Paddle Stop Brewery, as well as local shops. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and the way it was dropped off at the door for us in a basket in the morning was really great. We will definitely stay here again.

Anniversary
Went looking for a place close to Herman and found this lovely Bed and Breakfast location within 15 to 20 minutes away. Being our 50th wedding anniversary this was the perfect location to spend the night. What was once a church that was converted into a beautiful B&B made a wonderful experience. We took videos and all of our friends and relatives were able to see how beautiful this was. Of course, all the accommodations were wonderful. A hot breakfast was served the next morning and when we left to travel to Brandson the countryside was just beautiful. Friends of ours who saw the photos indicated a desire to stay at the Trinity B&B. I am sure they will enjoy it.

Hermann with the Hassle
My family I arived to find the charming former church property came complete with an outside cuddly cat. the property was quietly placed 12 miles from fun and cute shopping in Washington, MO and the nostaglia and bueaty of Hermann, MO. the property was well appointed and spacious enough to have a lovely sisters night of crafting. The breakfast arrived promplty at 9 am and consisted of generous portions of yogurt and granola parfait, a variety of delicious muffins and ramikins full of delicious fruits. I would definitely stay at this cozy getaway again!

This property is gorgeous. Ted and Erin were very accommodating and replied to questions quickly. They also made us breakfast both mornings. Very beautiful, renovated church and located nicely. Just a few short minutes to downtown New Haven. Would love to come back and stay here again.
