Kitchen - Newly Renovated w/ stainless steel appliances and quartzite counters. Includes dishwasher, Keurig machine and all the cookware needed to make a gourmet meal.

Backyard ā€“ Very Rare! Private yard with both green space and a raised back porch with comfortable furniture and beautiful plants. Youā€™re likely to hear passing live music from where youā€™re perched back here.

Master Bedroom ā€“ Queen size, high-end mattress with high end linen as well as a second level loft with a full size bed.

Laundry: Washer and dryer are located in the hallway with detergent provided.

Parking: Several on street parking spaces are available but we recommend parking in the two spots right out front. Please see parking details with your check in information.

*Complimentary coffee, shampoo, body wash and conditioner are provided. There is an ironing board, iron and standing clothes steamer available for you to use.

This property is perfectly situated to walk to Jazz Fest. The walk was beautiful with residences with fragrant gardens that bordered the sidewalk. It was quite safe. We also enjoyed a walk to the nearby Mayhew Bakery for coffee and pastries. We walked to the Broad side for live music as well. The property was perfect, exactly as pictured. I enjoyed a coffee on a quiet , rainy morning ... so relaxing. Never turned on the TV. I would strongly recommend this property for a couple's stay in New Orleans.

Fantastic find in NOLA
Immaculately clean, charming place for a quick stay in NOLA. Great communication with the host, who answered questions we had prior too booking. Home was fully equipped, including linens, washer/dryer supplies, and Keurig pods! Bed was very comfy, and the area was quiet with an amazing little bakery on the next corner. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location away from the Tourist traps
Fantastic property in a great neighborhood with walking access to many fun locations. Walking the bike trail that leads almost all the way to downtown (2miles) and right into the French quarter. Would like to have a welcome brochure with some close offerings for those staying on property as well as answering any questions i.e. can I walk around with a drink? Yes but in a plastic cup. My wife and I loved the ability to come back from downtown and have a space to relax away from the busy areas. We loved sitting on the back porch and enjoying the amazing winter weather. We will definitely be looking to rebook when we plan our return trip.

Beautiful home in a great location
We absolutely loved our stay here! The spacious property had everything we needed, was extremely clean, felt new, both beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, great climate control, ceiling fans in each room, adorable back porch with seating and it was a fun walk through a lovely neighborhood to several restaurants. Our favorite restaurant nearby was Lola's. Check in and out were super easy and the owners responded right away whenever we had a question. We cannot say enough positive things about this property and we hope we get the chance to come back!

The Urban Retreat has set the bar!
This lovely home away from home is a neighborhood gem. Itā€™s cozy & charming in a quiet friendly neighborhood. Easy access to anywhere in the city, a block from Bayou St. John. Very clean, beautifully furnished, and the hosts are the best! The back yard/porch area is tranquil & relaxing, itā€™s like youā€™re in your own peaceful world. Sometimes, in the evenings, I could hear music (jazz) softly playing in the distance. Iā€™m not sure where it was coming from but it was soothing to listen to while enjoying a glass of wine : ) I loved everything about my stay here. It was truly fantastic & so hard to leave. Check in was smooth and Dustin & Krista are fabulous hosts. Theyā€™re quick to respond, readily available, super friendly & super helpful. The house was well stocked & they even had snacks for us. I can not say enough about my experience. It was absolutely amazing & I will definitely be back! They have set the bar high as hosts, hospitality & quality of VRBO stays.

Great property for a small party that's very close to things in NOLA!
We had an awesome time in this property. The huge open kitchen/living area was great for hanging out with friends while not exploring NOLA. It was very close to places in the city. The loft bed is super cool, but the ladder to get up is steep so be cautious.
