Great property and location. We had a balcony room and loved our stay. I would say the only thing is bring an eye/sleep mask. They have curtains on the door windows and there is quite a bit of light coming in. Otherwise, it's a great choice.

Very noisy at night. Shades didn't keep out the courtyard lights at bedtime. Had trouble locating the front door to the hotel. There is no signage out front and the office curtains are closed all the time.

The pool area was so pretty all the little Statues made it just look so antique and lovely. The room was nice and the bed was large and comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only positive about this hotel was the staff, everything else was a nightmare,the smell off pee still haunting me. No fridge, no water ,the coffee makers are old and only brewing tea ( thin coffee). There is no supermarket around to even purchase some water. The first room they placed us room 228 had no windows and the smell ( musty and moldy) was unbelievable. So I asked for another room, still no windows but at least a door what opened to fresh air. The bathroom door had the size of a closet, sink was clogged. No space to place any personal items. And don't gete started on parking. 45 dollars a night and it wasn't closed over night, neither was security around. Iam so upset that I spend so much money on this hotel. It was not worth it.

Great location - condition of the hotel s a bit “budget” but the staff were super friendly. Room was clean and bed comfort Bit wouldn’t want to spend more than a couple of nights there.

This was our second stay at The Chateau- and we’ll be back! The Chateau has an ideal location balancing walk-ability with just enough distance from Bourbon St. to avoid the ruckus. There is really nowhere in the quarter you cannot easily walk to in 10-15 minutes from the Chateau. The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating, while remaining professional and discreet. The courtyard is perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon pool dip.

An oasis in the French Quarter
What a wonderful place to stay. In the heart of the French Quarter, yet a peaceful oasis. The courtyard pool is great. Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Just a short walk to everything in the Quarter. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

It was overall ok. Toilet was clogged when we got here and the push button flush on top did not work had to take top off to push flush. More counter space in bathroom and room darkening curtains would improve space. It is rather noisy but that’s expected. Would stay again, great location.
