Staff was great. Hotel needs some updates to the exterior and interior. I rented two different rooms and one room had a phone in it and the other one did not. Overall it was a great place to stay. Very quiet area.

I couldn't tell from the pictures that there was no carpet in the rooms, but that's not a deal-breaker for me. Front desk staff was superb every time we interacted! Convenient to Waffle House and Popeyes, easy access to I-10. Good value for the price.

The room was not clean, and the towels were stained. There was a dry marinara sauce stain on the base of the bed which I cleaned with my own Clorox wipes. The sofabed was so dirty and stained we didnā€™t want to sleep in it. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we arrived at 2:00am so we didnā€™t have many options. The staff member was outside smoking in their car so when we went down to ask for towels and additional blankets we had to go outside. Thankfully it was only for one night. There was a homeless person camped out next to the ice machine on our floor. We were so scared coming off the elevator to see them with food spread out all over the floor. We did tell the front desk and they were asked to leave but still not something you expect to see.
