Run Down in the Warehouse District
Stayed one night, first room - AC didn’t work. Moved to another room and the AC leaked… TV did not work. Management said they’d send maintenance, never did. Phone didn’t work either. Lights were temperamental. Run down hotel.

A pleasant stay
The room was modern and well-maintained. I was disturbed about the clogged shower drain, which I mentioned 3x to the front desk receptioinst. I think greater effort cleaning the bathroom shower door track, the door frame, and baseboard in the bathroom. Generally, it was a pleasant stay and convenient to the World War 2 Museum and trolley transportation to the French Quarter.

Horrible Experience
When we arrived, they did not have a room available for us. We waited almost two hours until they finally gave us a room that had bugs, roaches, it did not have a TV, the floor was filthy and so was the shower. We did not even shower there. We were switched to another room the following day. I spoke with the manager about it because it is completely unfair to pay 789.00 for such terrible accommodations.

I booked a hotel room with Expedia, upon check in was turned away. I was told my booking had been cancelled, yet Expedia nor the holiday inn had notified me. The front desk person Tanya Wade said your reservation has been cancelled! I said I never was notified of this and her response was that’s what happens when you book with third parties sorry no rooms are available. I explained that I had a confirmation email and number and there wasn’t even a notification that I had been canceled. We were turned away without cause. Sent away in the dark of night excepted to just figure it out! I was expected to find a new room with just me a solo women and my young daughter traveling with no help from your staff I even asked if there was another hotel that they could recommend near by since we had just Taken and Uber from the airport and now had to Uber from another hotel to get a new hotel. The staff was not helpful at all just stood around waiting for us to leave without offering any assistance. But because I was a women alone with my young daughter they knew they could turn us away! I will never stay at another holiday in again after this and I will definitely let everyone else I know that this is how my young daughter and I were treated. I work in the hotel industry and this story definitely will travel!!! I hope the same courtesy that was shown to us is shown to you. Don’t worry this won’t be the last place you see this review!
