Perfect location and great value. You are walking distance to French Market / Jackson Square / Bourbon Street. Its in a Quiet neighborhood, but you are only a few blocks from the Action.

I had a roach in the room & the room was really really old to the point that when i grab the door knob in the bathroom to closed the door, the door knob fell off… the area was closed to everything and the staff was really nice and friendly

Sooooo old! Neat! But needed some maintenance, tub stopper was broken, A/C was so so. But it was an enjoyable stay nonetheless. 2 blocks from Bourbon Street. Very friendly staff. I’d like to stay again.

The staff was very helpful, assisted with parking and luggage, and suggested some restaurants and things to do in the area. The property consists of several unique historic buildings and the two pools are open 24 hours. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking is miserable and is $50 a night extra, if you wanna leave you have to wait for staff to move others cars to get out, no street parking near by, tv did not work the entire stay, tours they send you on are great if you don’t have a car, if you have a car drive it will save you quite a bit

The best part about this stay was the staff. They made me feel safe and they were friendly. However the hotel itself BE AWARE. It’s overdue for renovation, smells of mildew and on the last night we found roaches in the shower. The walls were filled with marks. The television didn’t work. Hair in the shower that wasn’t ours. It’s nice to lay your head and be on your way but every night we sprayed Lysol and shook the bedding just to make sure.

I have stayed here for 12 years and always had such positive feedback. This trip however was disappointing. I had suggested the property for 4 other friends that each booked rooms and had issues ranging from broken toilets, to broken televisions. The pool was not maintained and unusable. We had to relocated our room 3 times, once for construction, again due to a broken shower curtain rod. Larry was the most helpful in trying to diffuse the issue. The only reason for the extensive review is for management to step in and fix the numerous issues to avoid similar reviews
