Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 full bath townhome tucked away in historic Mid-City, near Bayou Saint John and the Lafitte Greenway biking path. 4 blocks from trolley streetcar line that takes you to/ from beautiful haunted cemeteries to City Park and the French Quarter. dinning within blocks away the famous Parkway Tavern, Mandina's, Katie's and Bayou Beer Garden just to name a few. Close to the fairgrounds for Jazz Festival and City Park for Voodoo Festival. Perfect for large groups traveling to the city for a local experience.
The townhome offers plenty of outdoor entertainment space and open floor plan to comfortably entertain. We have an open concept living area and a fully-equipped kitchen with dining table. In addition to our indoor space, the front and back porches are a perfect place to relax and puff your favorite cigar after a long day out in New Orleans and on your feet. There is plenty of seating out there as well as a charcoal grill, a fire pit, and room to entertain. Other features include laundry (washer, dryer, detergent, dryer sheets, ironing board and steamer/iron combo, Smart TV, wifi and central AC.

We also have a driveway that can easily fit 3 cars. We don't recommend you blocking the sidewalk as they will ticket you for that.
5-10 minute Uber/Lyft ride to everything ! 4 blocks to Canal Street. A few blocks from the Lafitte Greenway, which is the new bike path that goes from Mid City all the way to the French Quarter! You're only 5 minutes away from the Superdome, 5-10 minutes away from the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street, 8 minutes away from the Fairgrounds for Jazz Fest and 5 minutes away from City Park to attend the Voodoo Festival!


Mid-City is Quirky, unpretentious and funky. It is Known Canal Street Streetcar, Stately Canal Street homes, Charming bungalows, Eclectic restaurants and bars

Take the trolley streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue. Walk conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two, a snoball shop, or boiling hot crawfish and a local brewery thrown in for good mix. Live music every night of the week in walking distance. Take the Canal Streetcar Line downtown or to City Park Ave.
Uber/Lyft is just a 5-10 min drive to the French Quarter & downtown CBD and Convention Center.
Walk along the Laffitte Greenway and Bayou Saint John.
We recommend taking Uber or Lyft to get around at night.

We have actually taken a step further in battling COVID-19 at no extra costs to our guests. We are sanitizing every surface with special attention paid to high touch areas like doorknobs and light switches. We have also employed a products that microscopically sprays hospital grade disinfectant in every nook and cranny of the home. And we wash every blanket, coverlet and sheets after every guest. Which means our homes are as clean as they can possibly be!

Just the Right Amount of Calm in NOLA
The townhouse is simply beauty coupled with eccentricity. A lovely get away tucked inside a lively city. The owners were easy to contact for questions and we would most definitely look to stay here any time we visit New Orleans. It was just what we needed.

This house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. It’s the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in and it is so charming. The location was great. It’s a short drive to downtown or you can access the Canal St streetcar within walking distance. If you want to experience a stay that has abundant New Orleans charm, this is it!

The best New Orleans experience at home
We had a great time staying in this home. Pictures are a good representation of it and the beds we used were very comfortable. Only wish there was water from the fridge working or a brita/filter but the tap water was safe. Some pots/skillet pans available, knifes a bit dull but not too bad for cooking. Would stay again

Very fun place! Hubs and I older, sons, young adults. We knew going into it there were stairs, they were a little step for our older knees lol but tottaly fine for the younger folk :). I did sleep in the master 1 night, bed soooo comfortable! Few blocks away from the red line that takes you down to the quarter. Communication with hosts timely.. great place!

Perfect for Girls Trip
Great house for 5 “cool moms” group’s first time trip to New Orleans. Home was spacious enough for us to spread out or congregate in one room. Bathrooms and nearby mirror allowed space for all to get ready at same time. Kitchen and toiletry supplies aplenty. Very clean. AC very cold and strong, offering nice respite from heat outside. Walks to Canal St. restaurants, coffee shops and grocery store were easy. Same for the Canal St. street car stops, though we used Uber for most trips to home from farther out areas (French Quarter, Garden District) because it was quicker than navigating the street cars. One Uber driver did warn us not to walk south of the home as that area is a bit seedy. We could hear some noises through walls from duplex neighbors but not enough to keep us awake and I’m sure no louder than we were to them. On the last night, the fridge did make an awful and disruptive noise that woke the house. We notified owners who were quickly responsive (as they were for all communications). Hopefully it will be investigated and fixed before next rental.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! We had plenty of space, parking is tricky but plenty. Chris and Mechelle were wonderful and despite not knowing it was a duplex, we made friends with our neighbors in light of the hurricane keeping us in for 2 days. We will definitely be staying again soon.

Perfect stay for my family of 6. There were a few challenges during the booking process, but Michelle was a gem with getting everything together. More than enough bedding all the basic essentials you would need for a comfy stay away from home. Only downside, which by no means is a deal breaker, there was no storage space in 2 of the rooms. Definitely a 10 out of 10. If you are reading this and considering booking stop wasting your time and GO BOOK IT NOW!!!

Restful and convenient
The decor was cute, and we loved reading all of the music posters. Our favorite part of the home was the back porch and yard. It was a tranquil place to chill after a long day in the city, which was easy to get to either by a car or using the New Orleans streetcars. While we weren't able to comfortably park our two SUVs in the driveway (tight squeeze/narrow), there was PLENTY of street parking and we had no issues finding a spot. The house also had plenty of space for the seven of us, and we didn't feel like we were right on top of each other. It was a good stay in NOLA!
