a little too costly for what you get
granted it was French quarter Festival but even in regular times this unit isn't cheap. I would expect a finer attention to detail for a unit that costs more than 2,000/night.In no particular order, here are the notes I made during our stay:First and foremost, At least a couple spindles on the balcony are rotted and literally falling out and create a real fall hazard for toddlers. These should be repaired ASAP. 1) kitchen sponges and kitchen towel should be provided, difficult to wash pots without sponges. we bought some and left them there. 2) Cushions for pool lounges should be provided. there are two chaise lounges but they can't be enjoyed. Additionally, only a single bath towel is provided per guest so you have to use your bath towel at the pool AND in the shower.3) Hot pads for the kitchen, impossible to use the oven without hot mits.4) Upper porch lights do not shut off and shine into bedroom window at night. 5) All toilet flush valves should be checked to insure proper working order so guests don’t have a plumbing issue. First floor bathroom under stairs runs until the top is removed and handle jiggled. 6) Chandelier base in front bedroom is disconnected from the ceiling. 7) Towel hook in front bedroom bathroom is detached from base and hot water faucet in sink is missing a piece on the handle. 8) Sink in kitchen drains slowly, may need rodding 9) there is a faint smell of gas at the top of the stairs inside the house, but I couldn't pin point it.
