The apartment was fine-clean, roomy, and reasonably well appointed. That the master bath is a garden tub only, and has no shower, was a slight inconvience. I think a more accurate listing would indicate there is only one shower. With 4 adults, anxious to visit New Orleans, you want to be able to shower and go, not luxuriate in a bath.
Because the unit can accommodate 6, it seems that having more than 4 coffee cups would be a good idea. A couple of kitchen dish towels and a kitchen wash cloth or two would be welcome. I think a small table and four chairs, would be a nice addition to the living/dining area, in lieu of the long bar and stools which are currently there. A couple of hard surface end tables on either side of the sofa, or a coffee table, to provide a place to set a drink or coffee cup when sitting, would be helpful.
Be forewarned that the neighborhood is, as they say, in transition. There is new construction and development, amid very rundown old homes/apartments and numerous vacant lots. As a New Orleans native, this is pretty common as neighborhoods gentrify. Met several neighbors during our stay-all were friendly and welcoming.
Overall, it was a great trip and great time. These are minor gripes, which should discourage no one from renting here.
