It was not like the photos. Felt cold and sterile and barren. No charm at all.the neighborhood is sketchy. No grocery nearby which is hard as we had expected to be able to cook breakfast. The access is difficult as the keypad for the elevator has almost unreadable buttons. Everyone was having trouble with it. So we would group at the elevator hoping one of us could make it eork

I loved the amenities in the hotel! I also loved how it’s close to French Quarter, to Superdome and lots of good food! Communication is easy even though they’re not physically present there. I truly recommend this!

Being a first time user with Sonder, it would’ve been nice to know that the elevator is inside another hotel. I thought it was its own separate building and I don’t feel like I had that clarification until I asked somebody at the front desk. Once I figured it out, it was simple but initially driving up to a different Hotel confused me.

TERRIBLE HOTEL, DISGUSTING POOL AND A TOTAL CON
One of the worst experiences I ever had. Did not get the suite I booked (what you see advertised) but a horrendous flat overlooking a firewall, windows with chicken wire on them, old furniture that looked nothing like in the pictures. When we complained the hotel said that the awful room they given us is “the same category” of what we booked and refused a refund. The pool was disgusting and approximately a size of a hot tub. The gym had broken equipment as well. The pictures of the front of the hotel are technically accurate but I advise a look on Google street view. It is a depressing part of town, a crackhead on every corner and a long sweaty walk to the first sign of the New Orleans you came to see

Dishwasher didn’t work, fan doesn’t work, freezer was out as well. Ac was on but it didn’t cool. The room wasn’t clean, and floors not clean. Only one adult sized towel for the bathroom.
