For the money this was a great stay, it was clean and had what we needed and it’s close to everything. The rooms are small and there are only 2 elevators for 30 something floors, but the rooms are clean and they have private bathrooms (not always a guarantee in NYC). We had an issue with the water coming out of the taps too hot to use, but maintenance came right up to help with that. The neighborhood is quite touristy- very close to Time Square but very walkable with lots of restaurants close by and a 7-11 on the corner if you need it. Overall a decent stay

Hotel rooms were very small . The beds were not even standard queen size . Shower glass door was broken. Shower wasn't working correctly, the cold water was running hot . It took a few minutes to get cold. Had a funny smell in the room.

Great location and staff were super friendly. The breakfast was very good! We had a family of 5 and the rooms were plenty big. My only concern was that we were in a handicap room and the shower leaked everywhere. We would definitely recommend this location for families traveling with kids!

When we arrived there was no water. It was fixed and then the next day the water was shut off again. Also, the AC in our room was not working-it was 95 degrees outside and we were sweating inside. It took 3 calls/requests to have it fixed. Eventually they did fix it.

Family trip to NYC
We stayed 3 days. One of the days we were without water in the morning and again in the evening. That made our trip a little rough. There are 32 floors and only 2 elevators. Again, that was a little rough. Also, rooms were the smallest rooms I have ever seen. However, the staff was very kind. They did reduce the rate for one of the days, and the breakfast was nice. It was also in a good location to get to the subway and many attractions.

What makes this hotel stand out is the people running it, cleaning it, putting breakfast together, stashing your bags when you need them stashed, and checking you in and out. They deal with so much, and they do it with humor and a firm kindness. The hotel itself is fine. It’s a little old, and the neighborhood is less a neighborhood than a tourist center, with all the complications that comes with. I stayed here once before, and what brought me back was the people who work here. And I will be back again.

So nice to be within a few blocks of Times Square. There were convenience stores, food carts, and restaurants close by. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts were good, and so convenient to be able to not have to think about one meal before heading out for our busy days!

Staff was very nice. Location good, a 10 minute walk to the middle of Times Square. Nice to have tea and coffee out :). Nice sized tv. Only thing was hair in the sheets that creeped me out.
