Because of a boiler malfunction the hotel had NO heat or hot water. We didnt stay consequently and had to find other accommodations on the 23rd of December in NYC!! Expedia and Hudson Yards Hotel are refusing to refund roughly 1000$ of our payment so it looks like we will resolve this in Small Claims Court in January 2025.

police was located next to hotel so there were sirens heard at random times at night. It was in a convenient location.

Coldest stay ever
Pros: walking distance to Times Square, subway and many other attractions. Very clean housekeeping made up the room every day. Nice hotel in general it has potential. Cons:no signage except a few pieces of paper taped over what used to be there. Very difficult finding it on our first night there. no hot water or heat in our room was told they were working on it. Stayed 4 nights temp was 50 in our room. Was not offered any discount for the room. Ended up buying blankets at Target to stay warm at night

Terrible experience, dirty, torn towels and clogged bathroom, on weekends there is a nightclub below the hotel, the room shakes with the noise, I will never go back there!

We stayed there for a week. By the second night the heating and hot water just didn’t work. We notified staff and offered us the manager’s contact info so we could communicate to them regarding compensation. It’s been two days and still no response. crazy.

Bad experience at Hudson Yards Hotel
We checked in on Dec 21 and had a booking for 4 nights. There was no hot water when the temp was 20F. We couldn’t take a shower for 2 days. Issue was still not fixed and on top of this the cleaning staff had left the main door open on 23rd when we came back to the hotel. We had to check out on 23rd to find another hotel. Apparently, the pipes froze due to cold weather and the plumber couldn’t fix it. The issue was impacting multiple rooms in 3rd floor and the front desk said that we could check out and find another hotel at the last minute in NYC Times Square on Christmas week. Front desk said that I can email the manager and get a refund. Haven’t heard a response in 5 days.

We had a nice stay. Yes, the property is under renovations, but it was clean, warm, and comfortable. It was conveniently located as well!

When we arrived they announced that the boilers weren’t working. Heating wasn’t working either. Place looked dirty and unattended. It gave the impression it is working with the bare minimum. I most mentioned that front desk was always very attentive. We had issues with our flight and they extended our late checkout until 3pm.

At the third night the shower heater was not working and the heater inside the room was not working well. Never came staff to clean or change towels or organize bed cloth. The staff are very kindful.
