Specifically, the issues that I encountered were the Wi-Fi constantly failing, no refrigerator in the room, no phone in the room, no lockbox, the latch on the door lock falling off and no climate control in the room. I informed the front desk and I received a small fan on the final night of my stay which is unacceptable. The manager Jeremy promised me a one night stay refund credit and $200 towards my next stay and never provided it. When I called the hotel to inquire why I didn’t receive both credits, they continuously rushed me off the phone or did not take my call. With all the options in New York City avoid this one. There are plenty of other hotels that comparably priced. Also, the name of the hotel is not recognized on apps. You have to use the hotel address. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Never again.

I think property is under a renovation, but still very cool theme and set up. Appreciate that the elevator is always available on the first floor ready to go. Kind of dark hallways. Showers could use a good grout refresh but overall it was a great location and much more affordable and good quality over other hotels in the area.

Great location, unique hotel design, AMAZING people. unfortunately the property needs some overhaul: AC and heating systems did not work properly, TV either not or only difficult to operate, more in depth cleaning needed. I reported most problems and after several attempts, were solved and that only because staff was extremely committed! this could be an amazing hotel! please fix the issues (i have more to report...)

Mod Hotel that is Open for Biz (but not really)!
I was told upon arrival that the hotel's ownership was changing. The pool table room was half finished. The bar was empty and closed. I had to ask for a portable closet to hang my clothes (a first!). The heat was not working so I had to ask for a portable heater. Hesitated on asking for an iron since the front desk clerk made me feel that asking for a something to hang my clothes which included a business suit and a tux for a black tie affair was a lot. I thought that a clothing rack was standard. The size of the junior suite and bathroom was nice and the fact that it was tucked down a quiet hallway. A gentlemen with a beard at the front desk was personable and seemed genuine about helping to improve my stay.

I enjoyed this hotel and the area that it’s in. The staff were very welcoming and friendly during the check in and checkout interactions. The only reason I scored a 4/5 was for the condition of the property which Is because it is in the middle of renovations but that didn’t disrupt the service. I also thought the heater/ac unit was a little loud. The rooms though were very quiet other wise and clean. A great place to spend the night or weekend! Definitely will keep this place in mind for future endeavors.

We were only staying one night and it had everything we needed for that- close to all our planned activities, cheaper than a lot of other hotels in the area and not only were we able to check in early, we were upgraded to a King bed instead of the Queen we booked which was nice. We’d definitely return for another overnight- but maybe look into other options for a longer stay. The room was comfortable but small. The vents were very dirty looking and we didn’t end up showering because that also looked kind of gross. Our room also had a giant window into the hallway that we had to keep covered with the curtain the whole time because anyone walking by could see into the entire room, so that was weird. Because of that the lighting was off as well, there was only one dim lamp in the corner of the room and then the light from the bathroom. That said, the staff was very friendly and both check-in and check-out were very easy. The location was nice as well because it was close to everything without being right in the heart of Times Square like some of the more expensive options

This hotel is disappointing. They unexpectedly require a security deposit, which is inconvenient for guests. Additionally, the lack of vending machines or other amenities is frustrating.

very good location in NYC without being busy
i chose to stay here due to its location from javitz for a convention and it was def convenient for me to walk to the convention! the hotel itself is very cute and a small boutique hotel. the room was small but very big at the same time. CVS is downstairs at the corner so for me, this place was perfectly located away from time square but still only 10 mins away. would stay again for the next convention
