Overall Very Good Experience
The hotel is in a great location, staff was friendly and helpful. Elevators get quite jammed during busy hours, so you have to plan ahead. Rooms a little tight but I think that’s expected in most NYC properties as well as a steep price point. An overall very good experience either way.

Hyatt Place in Chelsea was a great location for Christmas Markets, great restaurants, and walkable to Midtown and the Villiage while also being close to central subway lines. The only complaints would be the elevators were packed in the morning so we walked down four floors after passing up five full elevators. The bathroom also had a leaky ceiling from the shower above us, which stopped once they weren’t showering. It was too late to request another room, but didn’t make it worth a flawless stay.

Great Location, Roomy but Breakfast Chaos
The hotel has a fantastic location, making it ideal for exploring the area. While the room was smaller than expected, it was comfortable and featured a generously sized bed. Breakfast, however, was a chaotic experience due to the limited space in the dining area for such a large hotel. After our first attempt, we chose to take food to our room, and it wasn’t something we felt eager to wake up for again. The elevators were often busy, resulting in long waits, though being on the third floor allowed us to use the stairs easily. Noise was not an issue despite our room being at the front of the building. Overall, the hotel offers comfort and convenience, but better dining arrangements and elevator efficiency would improve the experience significantly.

Elevators didnt work. Took 30 minutes for elevator in the morning. The took over one elevator just for housekeeping. Making every guest wait. Rooms were tiny. Showers were poor. Little hot water. Total ripoff. Would never recommend or stay here again

A very nice hotel with a great view of the empire State building! Lots of places to go explore nearby, all within walking distance! I would definitely be back here and would highly recommend.
