The room was only big enough for one person, just about get a double bed in and €453 for one night, it’s a joke. The most expensive hotel in the area and you have to wait 7-8 minutes to get a lift.

NYC 16th bday trip

We booked a 2 double bed city view room. Upon checking in that style room was not available. We were given a king pull out sofa room, which I purposely did not choose when booking. Both nights I was awoken by loud voices and noises near room like a party I notified front desk both times. We’ve stayed here several times and returned for location. The hotel was down an elevator which made long waits. The only saving grace was friendly and helpful bell services, cleaning people on the floor and female front desk help at check out.

Location is amazing, easily walkable to Times Square & Central Park. MOMA literally across the street. The front desk staff were tired, dismissive and rude. Not one friendly person at front desk. The restaurant staff were happy and polite. The walls throughout the 20th floor were peeling and cracking. Rooms were great. The lobby and lobby restrooms were unkept. Overall good for the price. Room size bigger than most NYC hotels.

The housekeeping was terrible. Our room had old food left in the fridge and housekeeping came every morning before 9 am and unlocked the room without knocking while we were still in it. There were no linens for the pull out bed and it took multiple calls to get a response. Housekeeping also did not make up the bed just left it in a heap.

Would never stay here again. The rooms are very run down and look nothing like the advertised images. There is peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and even mold under the soap dispenser. The elevators are always packed full and you have to wait 10-15 min to even get on an elevator. The lobby is very loud and check in staff are not friendly at all. They just do the bare minimum and nothing else. The hair dryer was so dirty when we turned it on it started smoking and smelled terrible. I was disgusted and completely disappointed that this place called themselves a Hilton. Do not recommend

I arrived at 4:00 pm to check in but my room was not ready I waited another hour and my room was still not ready. I asked for another room that’s ready they said I would have to down grade without even offering me any money back. I had to keep checking if my room is ready every hour I was not able to get my room till 9:30 pm. That happened to two of my friends as well one waited one hour and got offered free food and beverages from the hotel for her entire stay and so did the other one. When I told the front desk what is going on they said they’re super busy and things happen. I got offered nothing which was so unfair because my room too 4 hours longer. Then after we came home she got $800 back for all the mess that happened and I still have not gotten an apology. I love Hilton and I’m a hiltons honor member but this was the worst experience I had.

Great location near Attractions and restaurants. Front desk staff was good but could have been a bit more friendly. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Elevators are a bit slow probably due to the fact that they have a lot of guests here. It was like visiting the United Nations since they had people from all over the world staying there!! They give you a $35 food credit for your stay so that was good too! Price wise it was a bit expensive but it’s NYC. The gym is awesome fyi.
