We loved staying here. The location is perfect! Walking distance to a lot of attractions and great restaurants. The breakfast buffette was superb! Delicious, with a variety of meals from smoked salmon bagels, to dumplings, to chia puddings.

The location was wonderful and afforded access to many of the important tourist locations. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast service except in a deli area which is fine unless you are accessing behind a huge tour group. There are many coffee shops within a block walk. The rooms are very clean, but slightly dated, but certainly comfortable and adequate.

Overall, this property was great. We paid extra for an early check-in and were upgraded to a higher floor, so we had a nice view of the Empire State Building and could even see the Hudson River. All was well until after about an hour after checkout, when I realized that I had left a bag FULL of souvenirs in our room. My husband immediately called the hotel, then called again later in the afternoon, and they claim there is no sign of the bag. Obviously, it was my fault for forgetting the bag, but it seems really hard to believe that a large bag with "Empire State Building" on the side, full of souvenirs, was mistaken for trash or otherwise misplaced. This was a special trip for my son's 8th birthday (his first time in NYC) and the Empire State Building was his first choice of attractions to see. I'm just really bummed that what was otherwise a great experience was marred by this. :(

Old rooms, didn´t make it in the afternoon. Poor choices of food for a hotel this big.

The area is fantastic. The staff at this hotel is very rude, and the rooms are small. Stay at the Westin for the same price point but better hotel with an actual lobby where you can sit if needed.
