Honestly. It was a catfish. Windows weren’t sealed at all so we could hear everything very well outside. I doing think they cleaned just judging by the old water stains on the bathroom floor. Just overall not a great hotel for the price.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived six hours prior to check-in and there were no problems with them holding our bag in storage. The hotel is only half a block from Times Square, so we knew it would be noisy, and it was. It is relatively close to Central Park and the subway system so it is a great place to stay. Room was small, but we knew it would be.Would stay there again.

Our first night was awful and very upsetting flies and maggots in room. So noisy couldn’t sleep as in corner and so loud. We were promised a refund for first night and moved rooms which was clean and much quieter so rest of trip was ok but first night a right off!

At check in there was a lady working - I think Maryanne was her name. She was making jokes and working the crowd so no one noticed the delay. She is a very positive employee and always smiling and greeting us and we came and went throughout our stay. Kudos to her!

Hotel was a lot older than what it looked like in the pictures. Lobby looked beautiful until you got up close to the lobby furniture and saw how worn and dirty is actually was. We were on the 4th floor and they actually provided us with ear plugs, not a wonder after the first night. There was so much noise I actually thought there was a window open. Payed extra for an upgraded room that did not seem upgraded at all. The bed frames creaked when you sat on the bed and there were areas in the bathroom where the paint was peeling off the walls. Our toilet ran constantly. The room was very tiny, barely any room to move around. We had to actually move furniture so we had somewhere to put our luggage. Was not impressed and would never book that hotel again.

Don’t stay here. Too small and I don’t mind small, because I love the citizen m. Air went out, lobby was extremely hot and smelly. Rooms are old and dank for the price. Did not enjoy my stay. Pro side, staff was polite and helpful.

Location, location, location. The hotel is just off Times Square and near Rockefeller Center. It is convenient but noisy (in fact, they stock earplugs in your room). The rooms are small but efficient.

I was worried about the stay after reading the recent reviews of the property. But the stay was surprisingly comfortable - great staff and good room. I stayed in their Deluxe room with two queen beds.

I didn't like that the rooms were smaller than the website shows even the bathroom was small it was like being in a airplane bathroom the elevator was extra small and the beds weren't queen size they are actually full size. There was no walk room around the bed. It was a crazy experience i won't stay there again it was just to small everything but the staff was great

I woke up to construction workers peeking into my room. When I got downstairs, the hotel manager stated that they were city workers doing construction on the roof. I received no notification that any construction work would be done, let alone that it would be happening right outside my window. I felt violated.

Excellent location! If it’s a short trip, well worth it. However the property is small! Four walls, two beds and tiny bathroom. Not ideal for family with little ones. Watch your shins in the bed corners.

I have never written a review in my entire life, but I feel compelled to write this This is a horrible filthy hotel with cockroach visible in the lobby on check in. The hotel is smelly, the room and bathroom is still filthy even after with the clean they state they have done. The tiles and faucet are filthy with water stains and gunk visible in the tile, the shower curtain is old and barely holding. The furniture is old and worn through, the corridor smells with uneven floors and bare thin carpet, The elevator can only accommodate 2-4 persons with single luggage. Infront of the hotel garbage was found in piles along the entrance. The photos online do not look like the hotel even adjusted for age. I was allowed to view multiple rooms each worse than the other. The entire experience was horrible, to compound this horrible hotel when expedia was contacted the agent for expedia stated I would be charged the cost of 400 for not staying the duration of the stay. I did not prepay this stay. Be warned of this property, be warned of expedia. There are better properties on both 45th and 47th street that would give you the location advantage without the horror of this experience. disgusted disgusted disgusted
