Excellent service!
We upgraded to a one bedroom apartment from a traditional room and it was a great use of space. There was a terrible smell but they switched us without any issue. The service at this hotel was absolutely amazing. 100% would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great location near Grand Central
During a short visit to Manhattan with family, stayed at the Shelburne. Great location close to Grand Central. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy by our room at times since it was located directly across from the linen room that housekeeping accessed regularly and door would slam periodically but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be to offer complementary bottled water.

Great Service
Luis who checked us in was very friendly, helpful, and made us laugh a lot during our very fast check in. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. Location was great. Hotel feels very safe. Rooms are a little old but clean. We paid for an upgrade and the room was huge with lots of light. Bar on the roof looked cool but we didn't have time to check it out. Beds were great and the black out curtains really helpful. Price is high but its Manhattan.

I reserved rooms for a business trip and the guests said that they were extremely impressed with this hotel. It was cool, the location was great, and they can't wait to stay again. I will be reserving 2 more rooms very soon!

This was a very good hotel with large room and a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. The only thing negative was our ADA room with a shower that got the bathroom floor wet.

This was my second stay at this hotel and it was just as wonderful as the first. While the location cannot be beat, it is the staff and quality of the accommodations that make this hotel such a gem.

The hotel location was convenient. The devil is the details though- the wallpaper was peeling, there was rust on the bathroom hardware and mirror. There were globs of grout on the shower tile. The air-conditioning was not working properly...it was so humid and never got cold. For the amount of money, It should have been much nicer.
