I was nervous based on some reviews. They had said receptionists were rude and the elevators weee really slow. None of that was true for me. They were quick and attentive. We arrived before scheduled checkin time and were allowed into our room. After traveling all day that was refreshing. Elevators were numerous and working just fine. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was perfect! Walking distance to so many places. We would stay here again if we can me back.

My room was so dirty, so they changed me to another room in which ac was not working, we were sleeping there all the stay at 60 degrees. I really like Marriott and I truly respect the brand but as a former hotelier I believe this property should not be part of the Marriott’s portfolio. What a poor overall performance. Old property, bad service, not clean, good location. I normally do not give bad reviews and I am so sorry if by doing this one I am affecting somebody, but, guys! You should pay much more attention to this property in this top location!

Amazing Location, But Disappointing Service for a Sheraton The location of the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel is unbeatable – truly one of the best in the city. However, when you choose a Sheraton, you expect top-notch service, and unfortunately, this stay fell short. In the 21st century, it’s surprising that we couldn’t connect YouTube to the TV – something you’d expect as a basic amenity in this price range. We booked the room for 4 people, but it was a double room with 2 twin beds, which were far too small to comfortably fit two people each. Despite charging for 4 guests, they provided amenities like shampoo for only 2. It’s disappointing to see such penny-pinching over small things, especially from a brand like Sheraton. These details matter and can make a big difference in the overall experience.

Great value but the hotel is starting to show its age. Furniture is on the older side and there is no fridge in the room. The service is kind of slow at reception. The lobby bar that serves Starbucks has really slow service. Hotel is in a great central location and really good value compared to hotels around it.

Great location, just outdated rooms
The hotel is in an excellent location. We stayed here over 10 years ago and were excited to come back. Unfortunately, they have not updated rooms in a long time. And when my husband went to shower, there was a lot of hair in the tub and shower.

From the moment we walked in, we were comfortable. Our rooms were ready 3 hours early, so when we arrived we were able to get settled before heading out. We were surprising family that were in town from Germany. Throughout our little trip we used the cafe/bar area for group hangouts. All of the staff were tremendously accommodating. Thank you!
