A beautiful room with a great view. We enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was that housekeeping didn’t stop or even empty our garbage, therefore our garbage cans were overflowing and we had uneaten food that sat in our room for 2 days.

Tempo by Hilton exceeded all my expectations. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Time Square with everything just a short walk away. Whether you're looking to explore the local attractions, dine at top-notch restaurants, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, this hotel is perfectly situated. The stay itself was fantastic. The room was very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. The combination of its prime location and the excellent quality of the stay makes it a perfect choice. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip!

This hotel is right beside Times Square. You can walk out and turn right and not have to walk on Times Square or turn left and join the chaos. The hotel was very quiet and clean. We had no issues. We had a room with two queen beds. It wasn't huge but very doable. There was a nespesso coffee machine and pods which I appreciated. The mirror had Bluetooth. The drapes were electric which was handy and fun. They charged a $39 USD per day fee that gave you a $10 per day credit at their restaurant, a discount on parking etc. For us, we didn't use any of the things the fee was for so it was just a cash grab on their part. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Obviously driving near Times Square is tough. If you’re going to try to use valet, you must go down W 47th street. We didn’t know this before and sat in traffic for over an hour trying to get turned around. Hotel was great beside this.

We loved our stay at the Tempo Hilton Time Square. We arrived early and we needed to be able to get into our room earlier than 4:00. Our front desk assistant suggested an upgrade and gave us choices. We selected a room on the 18th floor with a corner view and we were able to check in immediately. Our room view was amazing. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend to our friends. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to NYC.

Front desk gentleman at check out would not print a receipt and told me they are eco friendly I asked twice. The three other rooms I was travelling with got a print out. My first bill was wrong so I wanted to make sure it was correct before I left. He was not friendly. Lounge/bar area needs better service for the night time table service especially for the cost of the drinks and pre charges extremely high tip. I stayed at the tempo in December and it was wonderful. This time I bought a group of 8, 4 rooms and was not as impressed. The front desk actually told us the rooms were ready but we can’t check in before 4 unless we pay $75. I have never been to a hotel that won’t let you check in if the room is ready. A little disappointed with the Tempo this time.

The hotel room was very nice, clean, and my room on the 34th floor was removed enough from the street to be able to sleep through the noise from Times Square. Overall, the stay was very good. For two reasons however, I wouldn’t choose this hotel my next time. Maybe I am unreasonable on this but I’ve never had this happen at any other hotel and I have stayed at many in major cities all over the world. My flight into NYC was early and I knew there was a chance the room wouldn’t be ready and we wouldn’t be able to check in upon arrival but I always like to ask when arriving just in case the room is ready. At reception I was told the room was ready but if I wanted to access it early, I would have to pay an additional $150 USD. I would not have minded had they said the room isn’t ready but this policy seemed like gouging. It’s not like they could have rented the room to someone else for a few hours if I didn’t take it early. Also on checkout when asking for a late checkout, again I would understand if they’d have said no, we’re too busy, I was told I could have one if we paid a fee. The second thing that would make me not stay here again was the price of the food in the hotel restaurant. We were there for a week so ate at many great restaurants throughout NY including Tavern on the Green in Central Park. The most expensive meal we ate was an evening of snacks at the hotel restaurant. I had a salad and a dessert, my husband had an appetizer, and we each had two drinks. $190 USD.
