Heater in my room does not work so I have a stand alone heater. Room is dirty and run down. All facilities need to be updated. Shower does not include tub and needs to be repaired. Not worth it for the price. Good location aside from that.

staff not very knowledgeable on any questions on the area. And disagreed us when we had an issue with a very loud a/c The reason I have a high score for staff was the doorman. I wish I could remember his name. Great customer service friendly and genuinely nice. And he was the one that came to our room and agreed it was loud and had them change our room. Amazing service from this guy.

Hotel was suitable and quiet inside when compared to the street noise and crowds outside. No door person was there to assist with luggage and steps have no railings. Check in was not the best. My credit card company must have placed a security lock on my account for precaution, and the desk attendant didn’t work to resolve it. I had to use another means of payment. Thank the lord I had one. And I had to contact credit card co to resolve after getting to room. The desk should have made attempt and suggested at that moment to contact them. The next morning a different and more customer friendly person at front desk listened to what occurred and reran my card with no issues and refunded the other card. The room was fine and comfortable.

Solid hotel with friendly staff and amenities
Friendly staff, Glad to have a lobby area and rooftop bar. Shower stall pretty small, but hey, it’s NY! Comfortable bed, had a closet, desk, and dresser. Good location— lively area.

Staff was not friendly when present. Room was too small. We couldn’t navigate around with 2 pieces of luggage. Door didn’t seal properly. Bathroom sink was a joke (too small) no counter space. Final night cigarette smoke lingered throughout our room all night. I called the front desk to complain and nothing was done and no one followed up with me. It was horrendous and icing on the cake. We couldn’t get out fast enough. How can you call a hotel “on 5th Ave” when it was NOT on 5th? It was “off 5th” in Korea town. Overpriced for what we got honestly! Will never return
