Our trip was specifically to take in some Broadway plays. The Muse is the perfect place and the only place to stay. The location makes everything walkable to Broadway, Times Square and excellent restaurants (Carmines for one) and shopping. The music in the Lobby of the Muse is smooth and jazzy and calming. The room, bed and bedding is xlnt. They offer early check for a nominal fee which was perfect due to landing after red eye flight at 7am. Other reviews are that there is no bar or restaurant on site. Fuhget about it!! Not a negative IMHO as there are plenty in walking distance. We will book here again.

The hotel was clean for the most part and the staff was helpful and friendly. Upon arrival they lost one of our reservations. After a few minutes they were able to figure out the error. My room key did not work at first which was annoying after a long day of sightseeing. Once in the room it appeared clean and neat. I did notice a tissue on the floor when I closed the bathroom floor. The outlet in the bathroom did not work so I used one in the other room to dry my hair. The noise of outside did bother me during the night. They can't control that. Would I stay there again? Not sure!

The Muse was a pleasant surprise! Very centrally located just 1 minute walk from Times Square and Broadway and 5 minute walk from Rockefeller Plaza and all the attractions near there. The only negative was the Deluxe rooms located below the 14th floor in the older part of the building. They were extremely small, dark and dingy. No natural light. I would recommend to stay here but request rooms above 15 which are renovated. Also request the executive suite. These rooms are larger and brighter.

Front desk staff was fantastic! Very helpful with transportation and navigating our first time in the city. Location very close to many things. Would have liked tea/coffee/beverages available at the hotel.
