Our experience was terrible. We were checked out early with no explanation and needed to try to sort it out while on a tour. Our belongings were still in our room and they locked us out. It was very scary as we didn’t know if we would have a place to stay that night and no acces to our things including our passport. The run around we got in response was absolutely awful and no offer to compensate. Our room was not cleaned as a result for our entire stay.

Have stayed here many times…however this stay showed how there is a lack of cleanliness throughout the hotel. The housekeeping dept apparently does not take pride in its work. My room was dirty when I checked in and despite my request it was not attended to during my stay. The dirt on the bathroom floor was not cleaned during my entire stay. The window sills and furniture were not dusted even though I made a request to the front desk. I assume that this must be one of the Westin Properties that is either just allowed to disintegrate to a 2 or 1 star hotel. Would not be surprised if the name Westin is removed from the building or if it gets dumped by Marriott. Not even close to a 4 star establishment.

The front desk staff or Expedia, did not explain to us that we would be charged $34 a day for dining and /or tax fees rather we ate there or not. Also, I had an emergency my husband was missing over 5 hours and the first desk respond was "he lost in New York and laughed", the manager a black young lady came out and said I would have to use another phone to report it, they didn't offer any assistance for phone use, I had to call for face towels, the restroom floor looked like it had not be swept even from the time we arrived. The professionalism could use some help and training. We were from Texas, new to New York and this was a bad impression. Other than that, we had a GREAT time on our tours. Have a Great Day!

There were no robes in the room. Not a big deal but don’t say there are and not provide them. The body wash was empty and when called housekeeping, they never came but when came back to room after being gone for the day, our room was “refreshed” however the body wash wasn’t refilled. Thankfully my husband has brought some.

Room was dark and not enough lighting. The fridge wasn’t working, safe locker wasn’t working and ran out of batteries, bathroom looked old and small.
