It was clean and comfortable. It was a little noisy. I stayed there 2 nights and each of those nights the police had to come... they won't automatically clean your room each day unless you specify. I kind of got the impression that on some floors they may have permanent residents. If you're not familiar with Newark I wouldn't stay here...

The location to the Prudential Center is amazing, we felt safe walking to and from our concert that was held there on a Thursday night. However, the water in our shower never got hot and there were hairs in the tub, our room started to smell like cigarettes at night assuming the people next door were smoking, the heat was on when we walked in and it was 75 degrees outside and their was trash inside of the heater which was weird. I did not feel like our room was cleaned very well. We only stayed a night so it was fine for that. The parking situation was also really weird we didn't know there was valet and no one at the hotel told us there was a parking discount? we almost paid $45 and it came down to $23 after I had to ask twice if there was a discount. It was all strange.
